Mañana balled her fists.
The colourful woman walked around the ballroom and it's starstruck guests.

As she did she also gave out a series of childish laughter. "What happened? I thought we were all having a good time...oh well,I guess I must be such a party pooper, hee hee."

Araya looked greatly petrified and Mañana looked completely enraged. The rest looked scared and white -faced.

I was just clueless.

"Okay now,no need to panic, I'm not here to kill anyone... yet." The colourful woman proclaimed.

Mañana breathed in and walked up to the colourful woman, her eyes gleaming with pure hate.

"Dearest, why not we talk this out in a reasonable way?"

From her end, Elmonde knew that was her cue to get everyone out.

With the help of other servants, the ballroom was cleared within seconds.

The coloured woman twitched her ears.

"Oh, if that's what you're going with. I'll be in your throne room." She added with everything but regard.

She took the path that would lead to Mañana's throne room and then stopped at the doorway where she stared at a white vase in annoyance.

"Too plain." She complained and touched it with the tip of her fingers.

A bright blue colour spread across the vase and then she smiled. "Much better." Then she continued walking forward.

Araya and I followed Mañana behind.

She stopped at where the now blue vase was and stared at it.

She did that until the shade of blue became lighter and lighter and lighter till it went back to its original white colour.

Then she angrily clenched and unclenched her fists while still staring at the vase.

Slowly, the vase had little cracks till finally it shattered into tiny little pieces.

Mañana walked past the now shattered vase.

Poor little vase, had so much in its future.

Araya kept a rather worried look on her face.

The colored woman stood in the middle of the throne room with her back turned.

"I can see your madness has slowly begun showing face again." Mañana snapped.

The colored woman chuckled and looked at Araya 's direction.
"I see you have grown up very charmingly." She complemented ignoring Mañana 's comment.

Araya smiled. "Thank you aunt Denvera."

Denvera, as I had now come to know that as her name ran a finger on Araya 's huge white bangle.

"Why doesn't that have some color now hmm...? Maybe something sharp and catchy?" With that, Denvera turned the white bangle a pretty deep orange color.

Mañana used her glare to put it back to it's original color.

Denvera made it orange again.

Mañana forced it white again.

Denvera orange.

Mañana white.

Orange.
White.
Orange.
White.
Orange.
White.

Araya quickly pulled the bangle off her hand and threw it to the far end of the room. "It wasn't that pretty anyway..."

Mañana frowned. "What are you here for, jah?"

"Oh sister, you of all people should know what I'm here for. I'm here to discuss serious matters."

I felt completely awkward and out of place in this horrid family gathering.

Mañana shooed Araya and I off.

We left but not before Araya stylishly picked up her bangle from where it was thrown.

"I think I'll go to bed now, thank you Hanna." Araya swiftly dismissed. I didn't leave. I stood right outside the doors of the throne room.

Surely it wouldn't count as eavesdropping if I had been forced to live here.

"Serious matters that included blowing down doors and disrupting evenings?" Mañana asked very annoyed.

"I do come with my usual surprises." Denvera replied.

"And do they include your obnoxious sides?" Mañana rhetorically questioned.

Denvera answered anyways. "From time to time."

"To time." Mañana said.

"To time to time." Denvera said.

Mañana raised her brow. "To time."

"To time." Denvera sang.

Was this how their conversations always went?

"Anyways, why don't you guess why I'm here?" Denvera said sitting on the arm of Mañana's throne.

"Don't play games with me." Mañana snapped.

"Me? Play games? Haha! I almost forgot you were the funny one."

Mañana frowned.
"Trust me, if anyone has been playing games it surely is not me..."

Before Denvera could say another word, Mañana put her hand infront of her. "Not another word."

"Look at you! Just look at you,you absolutely despicable being that makes me twinge the second I think of you!" Denvera snapped.

"And she said I was the funny one." Mañana muttered.

"You made an oath to end the forget wars forever!" Denvera yelled getting up and pointing an accusing finger.

"I had a good reason for it." Mañana said.

I gasped inwardly.

I knew they were hiding something!
What ever was the forget wars?

"Ofcourse you did. You always do." Denvera said sarcastically and rolled her clear eyes.

"I did and this time it was worth it!You don't believe it but it really was!" Mañana said.

Denvera almost growled. "You're trying to change the past and I can't let that happen! I won't let you change the past."

"The past?" Mañana rhetorically questioned. "The past where we lose? The past where we are never recognised as important? The past where we are only...well...that past!"

"The past." Denvera replied.

"The past?"

"The past."

"The past."

"The past."

Okay,can they stop doing that?

Denvera folded her arms. "I dare you to try,to try and succeed."

"You'll watch." Mañana smirked.

Denvera angrily said. "I'll be back so you better stop making your plans."

"You're bluffing." Mañana concluded.

"Three days sister. Three days."

Denvera said as she left.
Mañana gave a short laugh.

Denvera smoothed a wall with her palm and turned it peach.

"Stop coloring my things!" Mañana yelled.

When I heard footsteps coming closer, I ran back to the worker prison and tried to process what little information I had gotten.
