Mhemrie had left to go read the memory. She gave us her word to be back soon or at least send us a note with what she had read.

I sat in the little couch at the corner of my room, hand still tightly clutching Awre's card. I still stared at my injury. This was the second time it had been tampered with by someone else.

Well, by someone else other than me. It wasn't even a someone else. It was probably a something else sent from wherever to attack us.

And it didn't work. I was thankful for Awre's presence and in a way worried about whatever Mhemrie would soon find out about the originator of the forget wars.

I flapped that thought away, wasted the whole day and spent yet another sleepless night.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up from my approximately two hour sleep. I spent most of the night walking aimlessly around and drinking uncountable ounces of water.
My eyes were crusty and red and my side didn't seem to assure me I would get better.
I left to the dining table. Araya and Kadeeja were talking and eating. Quilpxe sat at the head of the table reading something.
"hey." I greeting sliding into one of the seats.
"Sleep good last night?" Araya asked.
"I tried."
Quilpxe was still fixed on whatever he was reading.
"I'm done." Kadeeja complained,pushed away her plate and left.
Quilpxe looked up from what he was reading and scoffed.
Araya had already finished breakfast.
"Uh, Hanna. I will go now. Analiese is gonna show me how to tend a colourful garden."
"Sure." I smiled as she took her leave.
I poured some honey into my teacup. "Any news?"
Quilpxe passed the piece of paper he was reading over to me. "Mhemrie sent this."
I strained my eyes at the tiny scribbles on the paper. "I can't read this." I confessed.
He blinked. "Oh."
I gave him the piece of paper, that was his cue to translate.
"It says the memory's glitching. Reasons be it that Awre couldn't clear everything up. Whatever it was that broke Araya's aeopeks ate it up pretty bad, but!  she's been able to read the uneaten parts."
"And"
"The originator of the forget wars, whoever it was, had it begun in the address she sent."
I nodded. "That's progress, what's the address?"
"Paedemon's Papes." Quilpxe said. "Pretty great place."
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a popular hangout. Club, pool, hotel, bakery all that whatever." He scoffed.
"You mustn't like it very much."
"Oh well. I'm not used to those kind of places though  forces hate that place."
I shrugged. "We could go speak with the owner today."
"I'll be extremely busy today. Residents of Bohre and Kwesst are at it again."
I thought. "What if I go with Karl?"
"I suppose. I just hope you'll be able to get some information."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Karl came in later wearing a hoodie and shorts. "Mhemrie already told me where we'll be going." Distaste was present in his voice.

It wasn't long before we arrived.
The building was large. In front, written in huge monotype corsiva were the words,

Welcome to
Paedemon's Papes!

"Don't let the aesthetic fool you. This place is a literal black market." Karl warned.
I blinked and inclined my head. "Oh really?"
