Another week passed, and another reason was added to Jeongguk's list "reasons I hate going to school".

1 - Waking up early in the morning

2 - Taking the bus

3 - It's boring af

4 - Consumes a lot of his time

5 - Mr. Daddy material aka Mr. Kim Taehyung

He was still annoyed by Taehyung's behavior that night when he mocked him right in front of his face. Twice. And the whole week he had been calling him on repeat 'big boy' tauntingly like he did that night. He tried his best to avoid him, though, and thankfully, he succeeded most of the time. Taehyung was really getting on his nerves, no matter how unbelievably beautiful he was. He was a brat.

Jeongguk just wanted to have some peace and quiet. Only yesterday was when Taehyung had made fun of him about his age again. He got so infuriated he stormed out of Hoseok's house and walked all the way to his own, which was about forty minutes away on foot.

And today, on Tuesday, he wanted to ignore him and not pay any attention to what he did or said, but things rarely worked out the way he wanted. Because at his first class of the day, which was art history with Mrs. Han, aka little minx witch, an excited Taehyung bobbed into the classroom three minutes before the class would start.

"Mr. Kim, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Mrs. Han asked with her perky voice, eyes sparkling upon seeing the beautiful man in front of her.

"I was wondering if I can attend this class. I always had a love for art history," Taehyung said with a warm smile.

"Well, of course, Mr. Kim, I would be more than happy to have you here with me." She chuckled rather cheekily as she fondled his shoulder.

Jeongguk rolled his eyes skywards upon noticing her flirty behavior. He should have been used to it by now, though. She was always like this with every male teacher and even with some of her students.

"Well, where can I sit?" Taehyung, oblivious to her flirty demeanor, asked.

"Oh, you can sit here next to me." She placed her hand on his back, leading him towards her desk.

"No, no, I don't want to stand out. I want to feel like a student again for a bit."

"Well, you just became my favorite student then." Her flirtatious tone couldn't pass unnoticed by Jeongguk, who was observing the scene in depth but as subtly as possible.

"Unfortunately, there aren't any empty seats so—"

"But I see one over there." Taehyung pointed at a desk at the very back of the classroom.

The boy, who was practically lying on his chair, sat bolt upright in haste. He was the only one who was sitting alone since his seatmate moved abroad before Christmas vacation.

"You can sit next to the little awkward boy who never talks," she sneered as she caressed Taehyung's shoulder, squeezing it mildly.

Taehyung's warm smile dropped in a heartbeat and a stern expression made its way on his face instead. "You shouldn't be giving your students these kinds of nicknames. To be honest, you shouldn't be giving them nicknames at all. If he doesn't want to talk, it's his choice, and if he's a little awkward, he can't help it."

Mrs. Han seemed taken aback at his words and frosty tone, and she tittered through her flustered state. "Take a seat," she said, gesturing towards the younger's desk.

Jeongguk ducked his head and started tinkering with his hands when he realized that the older was walking towards his desk.

"Hi," Taehyung whispered with a hearty smile as he sat next to him.
