The seventeen-year-old boys and Hoseok gathered at the latter's house as Jimin had planned. They had a variety of beers and a few bottles of soju for Hoseok since he enjoyed the specific drink a bit more than beers, and occasionally, Taehyung did too."Who wants to play overwatch? I'm bored," Jeongguk whined.
"We said we would party today, not play video games." Jimin released a tsk sound as he bumped his shoulder.
"But it's only us anyway, so why not?"
The doorbell rang right after Jeongguk's inquiry, and everyone frowned in confusion except for Hoseok and Jimin.
"Are we waiting for someone else?" Namjoon asked.
His question was ignored as Hoseok skipped to the door. "Hey, Tae!"
"Hi." Taehyung's smile hardened on his face as his eyes traveled behind Hoseok, catching sight of the five boys. "What the hell?"
"What? Oh, it was a last-minute thing. They just decided to come," Hoseok lied with finesse, lifting an idle shoulder.
Taehyung hummed, not totally convinced by his hyung's words, but walked inside, anyway. "Hello."
"Oh, Mr. Kim, we didn't know you were coming," Seokjin said, an awkward chuckle seeping through his lips.
"I didn't know you guys would be here either." Taehyung forced a smile as he shot a glare at Hoseok.
"Okay, okay, let's drink!" The receiver of that death glare draped an arm over Taehyung's shoulders and led him to the couch.
"You didn't tell me that Taehyung was coming!" Jeongguk whisper-yelled to Jimin, making sure no one else could hear him.
"You didn't ask," Jimin shot back tauntingly. "And if I did, you wouldn't have come!"
"So you set this up?"
"Obviously." He rolled his eyes, and Jeongguk could only huff in annoyance.
Jeongguk was unsure about drinking a lot, but it wasn't a question anymore when Taehyung popped up there. He was going to drink. A lot. Only the thought of Taehyung with that guy Seongwoo made him cringe.
They began drinking soon enough, laughing and chatting about an array of things.
"We should play a game!" Jimin exclaimed.
"What game?" Yoongi asked, grimacing at his suggestion.
"Since we don't know Taehyung well, we should play truth or dare!"
"Did you just call me by my name?" Taehyung asked, taken aback.
"Oops. When we're at a house drinking together, you can't expect me to call you Mr. Kim."
"He's got a point," Hoseok chimed in. "But I think we're a little too old for truth or dare."
"Oh come on, hyung, old my ass!" Jimin said through his laughter.
"You got a quite big mouth, don't you?" Taehyung sneered.
"Yes. Do you wanna see for yourself?" Jimin plastered a sly smile on his face, his eyes gleaming with innuendos.
"Jimin!" Hoseok cried, but what startled most of them, if not all, was that Jeongguk yelled at the same time as him. And just like that, everyone scrutinized him as he ducked his head, embarrassed to the core.
"Okay, I was just kidding." Jimin snorted. "Let's play the game and drink more because your asses are quite grumpy."
They perched on the carpet in a circle and decided to spin a bottle and whoever got the bottom of the bottle pointing at him could ask a question to the person the top of the bottle was pointing at. And whoever was caught lying or wasn't able to do a dare, he would take a sip of his drink. Jimin suggested that they could drink a shot of soju, but Hoseok was quick enough to dismiss his suggestion.
