"Does it hurt a lot?" Dongmin asked as he helped him sit down.

"Like hell." Jeongguk winced in pain when the icepack touched his swollen wrist.

"Hello, I'm Kim Daesi, the physical therapist of the school," the doctor greeted. "Can I see your wrist?"

The younger removed the icepack and showed his wrist to the doctor.

"Hmm, okay, it's not broken." He moved it slightly, making the younger suck in a breath in pain. "It's just a first-degree sprain, and it doesn't look that serious. In a week, it'll be good as new. But you have to immobilize it completely and put a splint at least for a week. Then you can start strength training. I'll make you a series of exercises and send it to you."

"Thank you," Jeongguk said, and the doctor left.

There was a moment of silence before Dongmin cleared his throat. "There was quite the tension between you and Mr. Daddy material," he said with a hint of irony as he gave him a questioning look.

"No, there wasn't any tension."

"So what, you just hate people touching you? He just wanted to see your wrist. He's our teacher, you know."

"I did it out of instinct."

"Oh my God, Kook, what happened?" A panicked Hoseok appeared running then and interrupted them.

"Just a sprain, relax."

"I got really worried." He sat next to him and took a look at his wrist. "Does it hurt?"

"Well, yeah. But how did you know what happened?"

"Tae texted me to find you."

"Who's Tae?" Dongmin asked curiously.

"Mr. Kim—wait, who are you?" Hoseok narrowed his eyes on him.

"Oh, I'm Dongmin, the new student."

"Oh my God! I forgot you were coming today. I'm Jung Hoseok, your dance teacher."

"I know, Jeongguk explained everything."

"You guys seem pretty close already," Hoseok said as he discerned Dongmin's arm that was still wrapped around his waist.

"We are seatmates, hyung."

"We can be anything you want," Dongmin uttered close to his ear as he squeezed his waist.

He tittered and shifted in his seat, embarrassed. "Shut up."

Hoseok looked back and forth between a confident Dongmin, who was glued to Jeongguk's side, and a blushing Jeongguk, who ducked his head and smiled bashfully.

"Okay, Dongmin, I think you should return to your class," Hoseok said.

"Oh, but I don't want to leave Jeonggukie alone."

"It's okay, hyung, you should go back to the class."

"Hmm, okay, I'll see you later." Dongmin offered him a warm smile and shuffled off.

Hoseok let his eyes wander on the younger for a spell, contemplating him. "You seem... okay."

Jeongguk's brows knitted at his words as he raised his head and shot him a baffled look. "What do you mean?"

"I mean with the whole Taehyung thing."

"Just because I'm not crying about him doesn't mean I got over it already." He rolled his eyes faintly and sighed.

"But your new seatmate seems like a cool guy and obviously likes you. Why don't you give it a try and forget about him?"

"Hyung, it's not something I can forget that easily. And I just met Dongmin, I don't actually know him."
