It was silent as they cleaned up. It was silent as they wore their boxers and shirts again. It was still silent when they sat in the younger's bed with little space between them. As Taehyung stared at his hands and Jeongguk played nervously with his, the silence was still suffocating both.

Jeongguk sprang up out of nowhere and scurried to his desk. He hesitated but opened the second drawer and fished some of his drawings out. He held them close to his chest as he walked back to Taehyung, who was peering at him with questioning eyes.

"These are some of my recent drawings," he murmured, timid, as he sank down next to him. His heart pranced and his hands shook slightly when he handed him the first drawing. "I draw animated characters and faces and landscapes. I kind of draw everything, but my favorite to draw is animated characters and now... faces."

"Jeongguk, you're really talented," Taehyung uttered as he observed the drawing with glittering eyes. The moment the second one slipped into his hands, his brows went sky high, unable to hide his surprise. "Is this..."

"Your initials, yes," Jeongguk admitted. "It was the first thing I drew about you."

Taehyung's gaze fell on the date on the corner of the drawing. "This was before everything happened."

"I know," he whispered, head still ducked. "I told you, it was never just a crush with you," he trailed off as he passed him the next drawing.

"That's me!" Taehyung giggled. "It's so beautifully drawn, Jeongguk."

A small smile dangled on the corner of his lips as he gave them all to him, now feeling more at ease about sharing them.

Realizing that the next five drawings were all about him, a warm feeling nestled against Taehyung's heart as his eyes brimmed with fondness.

"It was never just about sex for me, Tae," he said in a hushed tone, sucking the older's gaze to him. "We just never really discussed what we are or what we're doing. And I guess it was a little hard for me to believe that you, a ridiculously beautiful, hot and amazing twenty-two-year-old man would ever want to be with me, a shy, awkward, little kid. And I was afraid to talk about it so I was just... savoring every moment with you." He glanced at him multiple times as he spoke but wasn't able to maintain eye contact for long.

"To be honest, it's a little hard for me to believe it too. That an extremely talented, beautiful, hot and amazing seventeen-year-old boy would make me get so attached to him. Wait, did I say adorable? Cute? Handsome?" Taehyung said, pulling a honeyed chuckle from him. His palm embraced his rosy cheek, and he gazed at his gorgeous eyes, sighing softly. "You are all these things, Jeongguk, and a lot more. And yes, you are shy and awkward sometimes, but that's what makes you the most adorable in my eyes. You are perfect in my eyes."

Jeongguk engulfed him in a tight hug, his arms lacing around his nape, as Taehyung's curled around his waist. "I'm sorry I made you mad before."

"No, Kook, I'm sorry for raising my voice. I'm sorry for scaring you." He placed a soft kiss on his head. "When I'm mad, I tend to raise my voice and say things I don't mean. When that happens, can you just tell me to stop yelling or something? And I promise I'll stop. It's just sometimes it happens and I don't even realize it."

"It's okay, Tae. I'll tell you if that happens again." He offered him a mild smile and pecked his lips.

"Good." Taehyung matched his smile, pushing him gently into the bed, and climbed over him. He stole sugary giggles as he showered his adorable face with loving kisses. "I could hear you laugh all day every day," he said between the kisses, causing the other to chuckle once again.

"You're so cute."

"Yeah, I'm not used to this side of myself yet." Taehyung snorted as he set his gaze on him. He caressed the side of his head and kissed his lips multiple times, both of them smiling.
