3rd Person POV
L O C A T I O N : R E B E L B A S E , R E C R E A T I O N H A L L

Breakfast had just ended, and the group parted ways. After making a quick trip to the toilet, Lloyd bumped into Kai, "You ready to go?"
"Yeah."
They were gonna go to Ignacia, so Lloyd could see for himself, the damage done. They went up several flights of stairs, before entering a large room filled with hovercrafts, and they met up with Nya and Zane.
"Glad you two are finally here." Ronin mumbled. He too had been stowing out here.
"Lloyd, this is Flintlocke and Dilara," Nya introduced. Lloyd shook both their hands, and the four of them boarded the hovercraft. The doors shut, and the main doors opened, as the aircraft took off, and zoned out. Nadakhan approached Nya and Zane, "You two did put the surveillance tracker on it, right?"
Zane nodded, "It's on autopilot. The destination is locked in. If everything goes to plan they shouldn't have any mishaps."
"Good."

"So, Lloyd, as you know Ignaica was taken down. Do you know about the other places?" Dilara asked. Lloyd shook his head. Flintlocke scrolled through his burner, before handing it to Lloyd, "Jamanakai Village, Stiix, Djinnjago, Nom, Terra Technica and Hiroshi's Labyrinth. All of them were pretty brutal. Ignacia was hardest hit though..." Flintlocke explained, before taking his burner back.
"Flintlocke's very skilled with a gun," Dilara tells him, "He never misses a target." The rest of the trip to Ignacia was in complete silence.

The group stepped out of the hovercraft, onto the rubble of the remains of Ignacia. Lloyd clapped a hand over his mouth. Everything was gone; homes, shops, the local school, everything.
There was a large pile, and the group made their way up. The blonde had to stop himself from screaming senselessly, as he saw the many dead bodies, of people and animals.
"Kai, you wanna tell him what happened here?" Flintlocke asked, sipping some water. Kai got down on one knee, as his eyes scanned the place he'd called home for the past 2 decades.
"I...after you tried to shoot Clouse and missed, Ninjago City, which we now call the Capitol here, ordered Ignacia to go into lockdown." He took a shuddering breath as he stared at the ground miserably, "The lights went out. The place was in blackout. The Serpentine guards started leaving. Nya and I we...we instantly clicked it together, what was about to go down. Immediately, we ran outside, pulling everyone, men, women, children...we dragged them to the border of Ignacia. That's when the bombs started dropping. Griffin, Ash, Shade and Neuro helped. Nya went back for our parents but...the bombs got to them. We saved as many people as we could. We could have done more..."
Dilara placed a hand on the brunette's shoulder, "You and your sister saved so many lives. 918 people."
Kai scoffed, "918...out of 10000 people."
Lloyd tried to reason with him, "I-It's still a big number, Kai. We can work with it."
"I could have done more. I could have picked them up, carried them over my shoulder...I could have done more..."
Flintlocke looked at Lloyd, "We'll handle this. Take a walk, go back to your house, check if you need to grab anything. We'll be right here."
He nodded, before straightening up, and making his way through the remains.
Lloyd's POV

As I make my way to my house, the pang of guilt throbs through me. I did this.
If I'd never shot that gun, Ray and Maya would be alive. My squad would be together. I walk up the long path, before opening the door. My house seemed...normal, as if the outside world didn't look like the aftermath of a bombing.
I creep through the rooms, swiping items and shoving them into my back. Reaching the kitchen, I grab my mother's herbs, remedies, and all her medical equipment, as well as her scrolls, books and research. Entering the living room, I take the framed photos, adding them into my bag. The bedrooms didn't have much in them. The study however...it looked as if someone had been there. The desk was filled with paper. Small slips of paper, like the ones you'd find in fortune cookies. In the middle of the desk, there was a small plastic charm. Frowning, I pick it up.
It was sculpted to look like an Anacondrai head. This was Chen's calling card. Dropping it, I rush outside, and into the house opposite.
Unlike my house, Kai and Nya's was a complete disaster. The roof had collapsed, walls were destroyed, everything was broken, and clearly unfixable. Nevertheless, I take some photos, books and other trinkets. However, something dashes past, into the kitchen. I follow after it. There on the counter, was Stuffins, Nya's cat. Opening my bag, I reach for him. He struggles in my grasp, hissing and clawing at me.
"Don't you wanna see Nya again?" I ask. That shut him up, "There we go..." Gently placing him inside the bag, I leave the place, before meeting back with Dilara, Flintlocke and Kai. The gunsman chuckled, "You bringing a whole house or something?"
I smile sheepishly, "Sorta."
"Let's get going." Dilara motions for us to follow her. We arrive back at the hovercraft, and just as it lifts up into the air, I take one last glance of my childhood home, before the door closes and we fly back to the Rebel Base.
