Lloyd's POV
Why's everything spinning...Where am I?
Jolting awake, I squint my eyes and wince as the bright lights hit me. My limbs ache. Groaning, I sit up and rip the tubes stuck to my arms and gingerly stand up. I limp towards the door, and it opens automatically.
Damn you.
Inside, there was Ronin, Dareth and Cyrus, talking quietly. They hear the door open and three pairs of eyes simultaneously shoot over to look at me.
"Finally. You're awake," Ronin groaned. I look around.
"What's going on? Where's everyone? Where the hell are we going?"
Cyrus looked at me nervously, "We saved you, Lloyd. There was an attack on the villages, ordered by Chen, and we got you out of there,"
What...
My mind went back to the two people who were practically family, "Where's Kai and Nya?"
"Relax, kid. They're safe. Shaken up, yes, but they're waiting for you at the Rebel Base."
Rebel Base?
"W-Wha-"
"There's an abandoned island. That's where the rebels are hiding. Including...most of your squad..."
I clench my fist, "What do you mean, 'most of my squad'?"
Dareth pressed a remote, showing pictures of my teammates, "Jay and Seliel Gordon Walker, Pixal Borg, Morro Garmadon and Cole Brookstone were taken hostage by the Chen's warriors. They're in Ninjago City. Misako is safe. Your dad..."
I look down, "He died ensuring my safety, I know." Dareth gently lays a hand on my shoulder, "He was a good man, Lloyd. We're gonna fight, and you're gonna be our Dragon, our beacon of hope."
Ronin smiled coldly, "What he means is, we're starting a Revolution. Against Chen. Against Ninjago City."
I glare up at him, "What about the hostages? What about Kai and Nya?" I am practically yelling at this point, but I don't care.
"The Smith siblings are fine. We're working on the others. We need your approval. Are you in, or out?"
I ponder over it. Am I mad? Yes. Do I want revenge? Yes. Does Chen have to pay? Yes.
Looking up, I give a firm nod, "Yeah. Let's start a Revolution."
