Soojin and Shuhua stopped in front of the latter's room, smiling at each other sweetly.

"I'll pick you up during lunch Shu." the older girl says as she kisses Shuhua's left cheek.

"sure thing Jinjin.." Shuhua said, smiling back at Soojin.

But as soon as Shuhua entered the room, situating herself in front and as Soojin is walking towards her assigned room, both of their smiles slowly faded.

Flashback

"where are we going Shu?" Soojin asks as Shuhua waits for a taxi.

"first we'll do some grocery shopping and then go to my place and then you'll cook for me." Shuhua said as she opened the door of the taxi, signalling Soojin to get in first.

"what?" Soojin asks in disbelief.

Shuhua only smiled at her.

The ride was a silent one, Shuhua was looking outside the window, thinking about whether she should ask Soojin about the idea that came in her mind or not.

She turned to look at Soojin, see what the older girl is doing but what she saw is the saddest look she's ever seen from the love of her life.

Looking out the window, Soojin's tears falling and Shuhua wanted to wipe those away..but instead, she just reached for the girl's hand and held it.

Sighing, Shuhua then went to look back outside again.

'He doesn't deserve your tears.'

They then arrived at their destination and Shuhua energetically pulled Soojin inside the mall, right straight to eat somewhere.

"I thought I'm going to cook for you?" she heard Soojin ask as they sat in a small booth enough for two.

Shuhua however didn't answer Soojin as she's still busy ordering for the both of them.

"that's for dinner Jinjin." she answered smiling after the waiter left.

"WHAT?!" Soojin yelled, shocked. Shuhua's eyes grew big.

"ssh, quiet down Jin~ah." she said as she gave apologetic looks towards the other customers.

Soojin immediately felt ashamed and also gave them the same apologetic look the younger girl did.

"this is for our lunch Jinjin, I haven't eaten anything yet and probably you as well." Shuhua said and Soojin sighed.

"fine, but do we really need to skip the whole afternoon classes?" she asks, looking defeated and Shuhua gave her a smile.

"only for today Jin..don't worry." Shuhua said as their order arrived.

Soojin released another sigh again as she just nodded.

"fine." she said as she digs in with her own food.

"how did you know I eat this food?" Soojin suddenly asked that made Shuhua freeze in her seat.

"huh?" she asks, trying to think of a reason aside from the truth that she always observe Soojin.

It's not creepy at all though, they usually eat lunch together as a group with their other friends. Except when Soojin sits with Hui, who's by the way now her ex.

"I saw you eat that one time during our lunch together with the other girls." Shuhua said, lying and Soojin clearly believed her.

Shuhua finally felt herself breathe right again, "by the way, aren't I supposed to put something on your scratch?" she heard Soojin asks and she nodded.
