Shuhua walked Soojin towards her afternoon class, "bye Jinjin! see you later." she says as the girl just nodded at her, not even smiling or anything.

'right, there's no Hui or anyone else that's watching us.'

She then walked away after that, it's a lie if she says she's not hurt.

But she's a liar.

'this doesn't bother me anymore.'

Flashback

"Jagiyaaaa!!" Shuhua yells as soon as Soojin exits her room.

"hey Shu." the older girl greets her.

"let's go home together?" Shuhua asks as she raises her eyebrows up and down.

She saw how Soojin smiled, "sure." the girl told her.

"let's go." Shuhua said, offering her arm for Soojin to hold on to.

"let's go." Soojin said as she held on to Shuhua.

'God! she's holding me!'

"by the way, Jinjin.." she says as they walk towards the school exit.

"hmm?"

"my parents, they kind of found out I'm dating you." Shuhua said and Soojin stopped walking.

"wait, what?" Soojin asks, shocked.

"well, a certain Song Yuqi can't keep her mouth shut..she kind of told my mom about it." Shuhua said as she also stopped walking.

"is she that close to your family?" Soojin asks her as they started walking again, the older girl seeming like she's got over the sudden news.

"yes, she's my first friend here..I introduced her to my parents when they came here and they bonded." Shuhua explained as Soojin hummed.

They walked towards the bus stop. Silence engulfing them.

"so, what did your parents say about you dating me?" Soojin asks as they both waited for the bus to stop in front of them.

Shuhua can't still believe Soojin's dating her but she calmed herself and replied.

It was a pretend after all.

"they want to meet you." Shuhua said as she entered the bus.

Soojin left standing outside.

"Jinjin!" Shuhua says as she pulled Soojin in too.

"sorry." Soojin said as they sat.

"your parents wanted to meet me?" Soojin asked, face looking shocked and scared.

"yes, is it okay with you?" Shuhua asked as Soojin did not say a thing.

"I can't tell them about our situation Jin~ah..I'm sorry." she added and Soojin snapped out from her thoughts.

"when do they want to meet me?" Soojin asks and Shuhua's heart beat went fast.

'she's really going to do it?!'

"they'll come here this weekend." Shuhua said as she looks at Soojin thoughtfully.

"hmm, okay." the older girl told her.

"what? for real? you'll do it?" Shuhua asks.

'I'M GOING TO INTRODUCE HER TO MY PARENTS! OH MY GOD'

"sure." Soojin told her with a shrug.

Shuhua's smile never left her face after that.

"Jin~ah..you okay?" Shuhua asks the older girl beside her.

They're riding the car that Shuhua's parents provided along with their driver.

"I'm nervous Shu." the older girl tells her.

Shuhua glanced at Soojin for awhile.

'God! I love her so much.'

She decided to reach for Soojin's hand, holding it on her own and squeezing it for assurance.

"relax, they won't bite Jinjin." she said as she felt Soojin hold her hand tightly too.

"mama, papa!" Shuhua greeted as soon as she saw her parents.

They hugged for awhile as Soojin just stood behind Shuhua, looking everywhere else but them.

"is she your girlfriend?" Shuhua's mom spoke in Mandarin.

"yes." she answers.

"go and get her, she looks nervous." her dad tells her and so she nodded.

Shuhua smiled as she approached Soojin.

"come on, they're cool..I promise." she said as she offered her hand for Soojin to take.

Soojin slowly reached for her and when she finally held her hand, Shuhua immediately smiled again.

"come." she said as she guided Soojin towards their table.

"mama, papa..this is my girlfriend. Seo Soojin." Shuhua introduced.

'this feels so real..her, my girlfriend.'

Soojin couldn't understand a single word but when her name was mentioned, she just bowed to them.

"let's talk in Korean." Shuhua's mom said with a soft smile directed towards Soojin.

"right, let's not make our only daughter's girlfriend uncomfortable." her dad agreed as he smiled at Soojin too.

"come on, take a sit." Shuhua's mom said as Soojin shyly nodded.

Shuhua pulled a chair for Soojin to sit on and then doing the same for herself as well.

They started eating dinner after ordering, engaging in little conversations here and there.

Shuhua watched as Soojin slowly warmed up to her parents, talking to them about school.

'why is she so beautiful and perfect?'

Suddenly, Soojin turned to look at her and Shuhua immediately smiled at her.

Soojin doing the same.

"see? I told you, they're cool." Shuhua said as she guided Soojin outside her door.

"yes, they are." Soojin answered with a smile.

It was silent for awhile, until Shuhua heard Soojin spoke.

"thank you for tonight Shu." she said, smiling. Shuhua's heart went wild because of that.

"no, THANK YOU." she answered instead as they smiled at each other.

"good night Shu." the girl told her, still wearing that smile.

"good night Jinjin." she answered back.

Her world stopped for a second as Soojin kisses her left cheek.

"take care going home Shu." the older girl tells her before she went inside her house.

Shuhua left there standing alone.

'SHE KISSED ME!'

"what really happened to us?" she asks no one as she sat on her seat.

'can't I really make you love me back Jinjin?'
