Chapter 9 : Hangover

Third Person's Point of View.

"What the heck happened yesterday? My head hurts so much when I woke up." Jimin asks while he and Taehyung are eating breakfast. "And did you sleep here?"

Taehyung chuckles, holding his spoon, ready to put it in his mouth, "There's so many happenings yesterday, I couldn't even summarize all of them. And yes, I slept here because you asked me to stay."

Jimin nods, "Okay. You don't really have to tell me everything that happened yesterday, just the ones that you remember."

"I remember everything clearly." Taehyung said then puts a spoonful of kimchi rice in his mouth.

"Okay then, only the ones that you want to tell me." Jimin said, putting a spoonful of kimchi rice in his mouth as well.

"Gladly! But let's finish our breakfast first." the younger giggles, chewing on his food.

Jimin chuckles. "Hey, I just realized how much good of a cook I am. This kimchi rice is so great!" he compliments himself. But he's right though, he's good at cooking.

"Of course, you're so good at cooking!" Taehyung compliments him too, "This kimchi rice is the best kimchi rice I've ever tasted." he smiles widely, showing his rectangular smile.

"Really, huh?" Jimin laughs before putting kimchi rice in his mouth again.

"Really!" Taehyung says then sips on his glass of water.

After they eat, they help each other clean up the table. And then after that, Taehyung washes the dishes, because he volunteers, while Jimin goes to the bathroom to take a bath.

Not after more than an hour when Taehyung finishes washing the dishes. He goes to the living room and sits on the sofa. He sighs and stares at his phone which is placed on the center table.

He grabs it and unlocks it to see that there is a message from his mom.

Eommeoni ♡:

hi, son! how are you? how's jimin's birthday yesterday?

You:

hi, mom! i'm fine. jimin's birthday had gone fine :))

oh, and i met seokjin hyung and his husband yesterday after idk how many years.

Eommeoni ♡:

really? what happened? aww, i missed your brother

You:

stepbrother. nothing happened, we just had a little fight.

Eommeoni ♡:

you haven't forgiven him yet? c'mon son, it's been 10 years! even if you don't forgive him, nothing will change. his dad will not gonna rise from his grave.

He chuckles at that. It's been 10 years since their father—Seokjin's father died due to heart attack. If that incident didn't happen, their father would still be alive.

He sighs before typing out a reply.

You:

I'm not ready to forgive him.
