Why Christmas?

Angel's P.O.V.

"Tell him yes!" Snow yelled, "I told you he likes you."

"But,"

"No buts tell him yes." Snow grabbed my phone and texted River back.  "There, your going out on Christmas."

"What, why Christmas?" I asked,

"It's either the date or go with me to visit my father in hell." I grumbled a fine. "Good cause I know you didn't want to be stuck with an angel, two werewolves, and a demon."

"What about Crystal?" I asked, Snow thought for a second.

"Is everybody still in the living room?" I nodded, "Okay follow me." I followed Snow into the living room where everybody except the vampire brothers were watching tv.  "Otay since we are all here, let's talk about Christmas.  I have to go visit family, human and angel."

"I'm going with you to visit human family." Skye threw in, "I also have to go to heaven."

"Asher and I have to head back to the pack house for Christmas and Michael is going with us." Fiona said, I know she has a thing for the demon.

"I'm going to see mom and dad. What are you doing Angel?" Crystal asked,

"I got a date on Christmas." Fiona and Crystal giggled while Asher growled under is breath.

"See everyone is doing something and after everyone gets back we can have our Christmas party." Snow smiled. I think this is payback for what I did to get her and Skye together.

"Who is your date?" Asher growled, I rolled my eyes at him.

"River, he asked me out while Snow and I were wrapping everybody's gifts." I snapped, what happened to the hyper Asher?

I sat down next to Fiona and read River's text.
R: Sorry it wasn't in person but the werewolf looked like he wanted to bite off my head.

A: It's fine and don't worry about Asher. Normally he is a hyper puppy Idk why he is acting like a jerk.

R: Maybe it's because you're his mate?

A: That doesn't give him an excuse to be a jerk. Is it possible for a werewolf to change his mate?

R: I have no clue why?

A: Cause we both know someone that wants to mate with Asher.

R: ?

A: Your brother silly.

R: Oh

I giggled, River was so cute.

"What's so funny?" Fiona snatched up my phone and read our messages. "That is possible," Fiona whispered, "River just got to bite you and claim you." Fiona handed me back my phone. We both looked at Asher who was playing with a ball of yarn. We both giggled at Asher.  "If he attacks, just jump in the way. Asher wouldn't hurt you, not even his wolf would want you hurt."

"Thanks Fiona." I texted River what Fiona told me.

River's P.O.V.

A: There is a way for Asher to get a new mate.

R: Really? I thought werewolves had only one mate?

A: They do unless someone else claims the mate or if the mate dies.

R: How does one claim a mate from a wolf?

A: A vampire would have to bite the person.

My eyes widen, I couldn't bite Angel. I couldn't take her blood or change her into a freak like me.

"Hey River, what's wrong? You look paler than usual." Zero asked from the doorway of my room.  "Oh dad said he left us money and that he won't be back until after Christmas."

"Zero, what do I do? I like Angel but the only way to get her from Asher is to bite her. I can't drink human blood." I put my face in my hands.

"Hmm that is a problem. What would happen if I bit Asher?"

"I don't think it works like that." I chuckled,

"I... what would you do if I told you that you will bite Angel?" I looked Zero right in the eyes. My orange eyes meeting his golden ones.

"Did you have another vision?" Zero looked away. "Zero, you promised you would tell me."

"I know but I don't think you should know about this one."

"It involves Angel, I should know." Zero frowned, tears were building up in his eyes. "Zero, what happened in this vision? What happens that causes me to drink from Angel?"

"You get shot and of you don't drink, you die."
