River's P.O.V

The sound of a loud guitar solo woke me instantly. I felt around on my bedside table for my phone.

"Hello?" I heard Snow's voice on the other end of my phone.

"Hey, sorry to wake you somebody couldn't wait to go so we are getting ready."

"Oh, it's ok I'll wake my brother." I yawned while sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"Still sorry for waking you."

"Its no problem besides I rather be woken by you instead of my brother who would jump on me." Snow laughed on the other end of the phone, then there was somebody yelling.

"Hey I got to go I see you in a bit."

"Ok later." I hung up the phone then got out of bed. I walked over to my closet and grabbed my Asking Alexandria t-shirt and some black skinny jeans.

After changing I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth then messed with my hair.

"River!" I heard Zero run to my bed and jump on it.  "Oh no I crushed River! My dad is going to stake me!" I poked my head out of the bathroom and watched Zero dig through my blankets to find me.

"I don't think you could crush me even if you tried." I said while smirking.

Zero gasped, "You're awake before me!"

"Snow called, they are coming soon to get us." I said, "Are you ready?"

"Always, so do you know if they are you know." Zero motioned his to himself.

"Snow's cousin Angel loves gay people she actually wants to be your friend and I'm sure the others are the same." I said walking by Zero to grab my phone and wallet.  "You are going to the mall like that?"  Zero was wearing a tight v-neck shirt and blue jeans, his hair was a little messy, and he was wearing sneakers.

"Whats wrong with my outfit? I think I look fabulous." Zero looked down at himself and pouted. I rolled my eyes then headed down stairs with Zero right behind me.

In the kitchen, Zero grabbed two bottles of blood from the fridge.  One was labeled with my name.  I'm the only one that drinks animal blood in the house so I have to label my bottles.

"So Zero, are you going to look for a job?" Zero gulped down his blood then shook his head.

"Nah, why get a job when we are just going to move again." I drank the rest of my blood.  Just then there was a knock on the door.  "I'll get it."  Zero ran to the door and threw it open. I heard Zero gasped then slam the door shut.  "River!" I ran into the living room, Zero had his back against the door and his cheeks were tinted pink.

"What?" I asked,

"Boy. Cute. At. Door. With. Girls." I pushed Zero aside then opened the door.  Snow was standing outside laughing with three other girls, the three guys with them looked confused.

"Sorry about my brother, he is a total dork." I chuckled while rubbing the back of my neck. One of the guys held out his hand.

"I'm skye, welcome to the neighborhood." I shook Skye's hand, his violet eyes looked threatening.

"River." I gulped, something tells me he doesn't like me.

"Skye be nice, I'm not like my sister. I love you and nobody else." Snow huffed, "any who this is my cousin Angel, our friend Fiona, her brother Asher, our other friend Michael, and my other cousin Crystal." I smiled shyly at everyone.

"This is my older Zero." I pulled Zero out of the house. "He is uh well." Before I could finish my sentence, Angel spoke up.

"He is a fabulous man who if anybody says something mean to, they will have to go through me." Angel smiled while holding her hand out to him.  "River told me that me and you are so much alike." Zero smiled then shook Angel's hand.

"Awesome, now that we introduced ourselves we can go shopping." Snow giggled while jumping on Skye's back.  "Do you guys mind walking since the mall isn't that far from here?"

"We don't mind, besides Zero and I needed to stretch our legs." I smiled, by the look of everybodies outfits I wasn't the only emo looking person.

Angel was rocking a Blood on the Dance Floor tee and dark red skinny jeans, Snow was looking good in her Black Veil Brides tee and checkered skinny jeans, Crystal was sporting a Pierce the Veil tee and jean shorts.  Their friend Fiona was wearing a dark purple crop top and jeans.  The guys looked almost normal, t-shirts and jeans.

As we entered the mall, we kept getting strange looks from everyone there.  What didn't help was Angel and Fiona kept yelling random crap or that my brother keeps staring at Asher.

"Lets get food and talk for awhile then we can get our shopping done." Everybody agreed with Snow.  We all headed to the food court and got our food.

"How about I start." Angel cleared her throat. "I'm Angel the human, I'm hella great with knives, I like food but favorite is pie, vegetarian, I like music, animals, and art." Angel smiled then took a bite of her veggie burger.

"Me next," a red headed girl named Fiona yelled. "I'm Fiona the werewolf, I love spicey foods, video games, hunting, and a YouTuber with Angel." I stared at Fiona in shock, she just straight up and told us she wasn't human.

"Guess I'm next," a dark haired boy who I think was Michael whispered.  "I'm Michael the demon, I uh like the cold, I'm an awful demon, I love sweets, and I love cartoons." Michael blushed while biting into his hamburger.  A human, werewolf, and a demon were friends?

"My turn, I'm Crystal the human, I love music, I love animals, drawing, reading, and I like learning about the unknown." Crystal, a dark haired girl with daring green eyes, giggled.

"I'm Asher the werewolf, I love my meat." I felt my brother stiffen as the Asher guy went on about himself.

"I'm Skye the angel, I love my girl, pulling pranks, sweets, and thanks to Snow I started to like anime." Now a fucking angel what's next a nephilim?

"I'm Snow the nephilim, I'm a YouTuber, love mint chocolate, I like spicy and sweet foods, I like to draw, anime, and video games. Oh and I'm the daughter of Satan." I fucking give up.

"I'm River the vampire; I like the color black, music, and writing. I'm a vegetarian, I only drink animal blood, I don't like being compared to other vampires, and this is the first time to meet other supernatural beings."  The table went silent, crap they don't like me.

"I don't want to sound mean or rude, but how are you a vegetarian and still drink animal blood?" Angel asked, she actually looked curious instead of disgusted.

"Zero gets the blood for me and I pretend it's punch." Angel thought for a second.

"That's cool, I always wanted to meet a vampire." Crystal squealed, I smiled they didn't hate me.

"Can I introduce myself now?" Zero asked, everyone nodded. "I'm Zero the vampire; I like to swim, eat pie, I'm gay and proud, I love to read, and watch movies." Zero smiled brightly.

"Sorry we threw ourselves out there but we rather be honest about ourselves then hide it.  That didn't work out well. Fiona and Angel fought cause Fiona didn't tell Angel that she was a werewolf. I shoved ice cream in Skye's hair when I found out he was an angel." Snow giggled, "I didn't know I was part angel until I found out that Lucifer was my real father." Snow's smile fell into a glare. Since she was sitting across from me I thought she was glaring at me.

"Hey don't worry, she isn't glaring at you." Angel whispered to me. "Her sister is behind you. Emily is the biggest slut ever. Oh and don't tell her about not being human she isn't Snow's blood sister." I turned slightly to see a girl with strawberry blonde hair glaring at our table.

"Snow" She hissed while walking towards us.  "What are you doing here?"

"Well, the last time I checked. This is a public place and everybody is welcomed here." Snow sassed back at the Emily.  The Emily's eyes wondered over to me, she gave me a flirty smile.

"Well hello cutie what is your name." The girl was trying to flirt with me?

"River and I don't date slutty looking girls." I heard Angel, Fiona, Crystal, and Snow laughing.  Emily hmped then stomped off.  I think I'm going to enjoy my new friends.

The names of the chapters are the first things that pop up in my head so if they don't make sense that is why.
