Not Again

Angel's P.O.V.

I haven't talked to River nor Asher in a few days. Fiona and Snow has tried to convince me that everything is fine but something doesn't feel right.

"Come on Angel stop zoning out on meeeeee!" Snow pouted, she was trying to get my attention by poking me with a veggie nugget.

"I think..." Snow cut me off.

"Don't think gurl just do oh hello Asher." I looked up at Asher, he was avoiding eye contact with me.

"Hello Snow, Angel." I looked down at plate of veggie nuggets. I wasn't in the mood for this bull shit.

"I'm going to bed night Snow, Ash." I got up from the table and headed to my room. I could hear Snow yelling at Asher. 

When I got to my room, I grabbed my sketchbook and started sketching a dragon.  I was upset that both boys were ignoring me. Ugh boys! I threw my sketchbook onto my desk. I grabbed some clothes and to the shower.

River's P.O.V.

I needed the human blood, and I needed it now. I could smell the blood running through this girl's body, it smells so sweet.

Strangely she looked familiar in some way. She had short black hair and she smelt familiar as well. I leaned closer to her neck and sniffed. She smells so good, a mixer of the sweet blood and strawberry shampoo. My tongue slid from my lips and ran over the smooth skin. The girl shivered a little as I continued to lick her neck.

"R...River hmm." She sounded familiar as well. I nibbled a little an the soft flesh, getting a soft moan from the girl.  "River?" I pulled back and stared into the pair of bluish gray eyes. "I thought you were mad at me?" I didn't answer, well I couldn't cause the girl attached her lips to mine.

Zero's P.O.V.

I felt a little bad for locking River up, but it had to be done.

"Hey Ze, how long does it take for River to get back to normal?" Spade asked while fixing his arm.

"Normally after he drinks animal blood he calms down. He needs to feed so that is why I had you leave the animal blood there."

"Oh okay, wouldn't he have drunken it by now?" I thought about Spade's question.

"Yea, come on let's go check on him." I said while jumping of the couch. Spade put his arm back on and followed me into the basement.

The basement was dark and quite, too quiet.

"River, you okay?" I flipped on the light. The cage door was wide open, the lock was broken and on the floor. The only window that is down here was wide open. "Shit!"

"Hey he needs human blood right, all your new friends are not human right?" Spade asked, shit Angel is human. I run back up the stairs and out of the house.

Snow's P.O.V.

"Now listen here dog boy. Stop ignoring Angel or I will skin you and use your fur as a blanket." I poked Asher in the chest really hard. "And nobody is here right now to protect you from my anger."

"Acutely Snow, we just got back so please don't kill my brother." I glared over at Fiona.  "How about you take Skye back and do whatever couples do to make the other happy." I looked at Skye who looked a little scared.

"Gee thanks," I sarcastically said. "Well if your brother would grow some balls and stop ignoring Angel then I wouldn't be threatening his life."  Skye wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

"Calm down love.  Have you heard from Zero yet?" Skye asked.

"Hey 'huff' guys, have 'huff' you seen River?" We all looked at Zero and Spade, they... well Zero looked out of breath.

"Now you show up." I mumbled angrily.

"No, why?" Fiona asked, ignoring my mumbles.

"He accidentally drank human blood and now he is out of control. I had him locked up but he broke out and now he is gone." Zero huffed.

"What's the problem then?" I asked, totally unaware of the problem.

"Angel is the closes human to him!" Zero yelled, shit I forgot. I pushed passed Fiona and Michael and ran to Angel's room. Everyone followed in tow towards Angel's room.  I threw the door opened, River was leaning over Angel. Angel had her arms over River's shoulders.

"Get away from my cousin!" River looked up at me and hissed.

My eyes widen in horror as River sunk his fangs deep into Angel's throat.
