Asher's P.O.V.

"Maybe it's a sign Ash?" I rolled my eyes at Fiona's thought about my dream.  "Oh don't go acting like a jerk to Zero now. He didn't do anything wrong."

"He moved here with his brother."

"Correction their dad moved here with his two sons."

"Damn it Fe." I ran my free hand through my hair.  "Mating with a vampire, a male vampire, isn't normal."

"How do you know hmm? What if there is another pack that has a wolf mated with a vampire?" I could hear Fiona walking around on the other end.

"I'm not coming for Christmas." I hung up my phone before Fiona could protest.  I crawled out of bed and headed for the kitchen.

"I see that you are feeling better." My mom said while stirring whatever she was cooking.

"Mom, is it normal to mate with a vampire?" I asked, my mom stopped stirring.

"Why do you ask such a random question?" She replied quickly.

"I uh never mind. " I jumped when the front door slammed opened and an angry blonde girl stormed in.  "Hi Becky." Becky's dark brown eyes locked onto mine.

"You son of a bitch Ash! If it wasn't for your friends and that stupid battle with demons. My mate might be dead." Becky snarled then left the kitchen.

"She is right Ash, if we didn't get involved with the other supernatural we wouldn't be having problems right now." My mum said while finishing up the food.  "Look at your sister, she is friends with a nephilim. Such a disgusting creature."

"Snow is really nice and she cares about everyone's safety!" I yelled, my mom glared at me over her shoulder.

"She involved Fiona and you in the stupid war."

"I wanted to be involved and so did Fe! A demon killed Snow and tried to kill Fiona!"

"She wouldn't be in danger if it wasn't for that disgrace of a creature! Now go get washed up for dinner." I glared at my mom then ran to my room.

I pulled out my phone, I had ten missed calls and twenty text messages from Fiona. I also had a text from Zero. I decided to ignore Fiona and answer Zero.

Z: Hey sorry to bug you but River wanted to apologize. I know right now you hate him but he is really srry.

Ash: It's fine and tell your brother that I am hurt but I forgive him.  He makes Angel happy and that is what I care about.

Z: You are really a nice guy, even though you look like you could snap me in half lol.

A: Lol thanks for the compliment Zero. Tell you the truth, you look like you could brake me. ;P

I could just picture Zero getting flustered from that.

Z: Aw thank you lol. So how you feeling? Are you still in pain? I know how to make an amazing chicken Alfredo that can get rid of any heartache.

A: Sounds good but I'm feeling a little bit better. I would like to try it though, maybe a day after Christmas?

Z: Awesome then it's a date.  Eh not a real date! Just friends hanging out!

A: Lol it's a date then well I have to go eat text you later Ze.

Z: Later Ash

I chuckled a little while putting my phone away.

"Why are you all happy?" I jumped, Fiona was standing in my doorway. She was drenched and looked really pissed.  I didn't hear her come in or smell the rain.

"Why are you here?" I asked, Fiona snarled at me.

"I had to knock some since into my brother." Her eyes wear filled with anger.

"Hey I was uh kidding, I wouldn't miss Snow's Christmas party.  I'm scared of her."  Fiona's eyes narrowed.  "I also talked to Zero, we are having dinner a day after Christmas. Please don't kill me." I put my arms up in defence.

"I was talking about my movies, you left the disc out." I looked over at Fiona, she was trying not to laugh.  "You have a date with Zero." She lost it, Fiona grabbed her stomach and started laughing.  "Oh my fucking God Ash." Fiona fell to the floor laughing even harder.

"I hate you sometimes Fe." I mumbled, Fiona pulled herself off the floor while wiping her tears.

"Well I'm glad you came to your senses, but seriously learn to put my movies back in the cases."  Fiona said, a scream caused Fiona and I to jump.

"Who tracked mud into my house!" That was our mother.

"Well that is my cue to leave, bye Ash." Fiona opened my window and jumped out. My room is on the second story.

"Asher!" I flinched at the sound of my mother.  "Did you bring mud in my house?"

"It wasn't raining when I came home and I haven't been outside." I told her, I wasn't about to throw Fiona under the bus.

"It was Fiona, wasn't it?" Damn it, Fiona was not very good at hiding her scent. "That girl needs to shape up if she is going to be the next alpha."

"Fiona doesn't want to be the alpha." I said.

"Well she is going to be the alpha. She destined to be the alpha.  She needs to find her mate and take the role of alpha." My mom flipped her brown hair then left my room.

I jumped when my phone rang. It was Angel.

"Hey Ash, how are you?" Angel sounded concerned.

"I'm doing better, but how are you?"

"Hungry, but River and Zero are helping.  I'm sorry you got hurt from this."

"No it's fine, besides you're happier with him.  I want you to be happy."

"Aw thank you Ash. I want you to be happy too. How about when I'm stable, I'll help you find your new mate."

"Sounds good."  I took a deep breath. "Hey Angel, you know a lot about gay stuff right?"

"I do why? Oh are you gay? Eek you should ask..."

"No, I just want to know if Zero likes me."

"Oh boo, and I is not telling."

"I is not telling? Shouldn't it be I'm not telling?"

"Oh shoosh, anywhore look it up maybe you like him too.  Winky face.  I winked but you can't see it."

"You are a dork Angel, and I'll think about it. I don't want to accidentally find gay porn."  Angel laughed,

"You might like it."

"Gross, I don't even watch normal porn.  This conversation is getting awkward."

"Yerp, well I know you need to go eat.  I'll talk to you later bye Ash."

"Bye Angel." I hung up the phone and sighed.  This is the strangest year of my life.

I might not be updating for awhile. I'm having issues at home right now with family and oher stuff. Also I have to help my mum get stuff ready for her wedding. Eew.  Any who I'm sorry but I will finish this book asap.
