Y/n POV-
It was my first day at the newspaper studio and I was already so excited.
When I finally got there I took it all in and couldn't believe my life.
Y/n- 'hi there, I'm y/n y/l/n this is my first d-
Receptionist- 'Yes, yes whatever just go to the floor 2 the manager is waiting'.
When I got out the lift on floor 2 I saw Diane, the manager. I remembered her from when I was an intern she was always nice to me and was the main reason I got the job.
Diane- 'Y/n hey, how you doing?'
Y/n- 'Hello I'm great thanks I just can't wait to get started. So where do you want me?' The phone just rang so I stood there awkwardly in silence
Diane- ' What Do you mean you can't go, do you know how important this is to outlet company, I'm gonna have to find someone else I literally 3 hours!'
She slammed the phone down And I was kind of scared and didn't know what to do so I stood there in silence.
Diane's POV-
Oh no what was I going to do there was no one else that would be able to go on such such short notice. I looked up from my feet and then it hit me
Diane- 'Oh why didn't I think of this before! You can come with me on a job in New York as the photographer. The other photographer just backed out so there's an opening if your available?'
Y/n- 'When is it I probably will be free hahaha'
Diane- 'Tommorow'
Y/n- 'WHAT'
Y/n POV
Obviously I could go and I don't know why I just blurted that out but at the same time I didn't want to seem like someone with no life, which I was.
I couldn't believe this was REALLY happening, I get to go to a real film premier and take photos for real OMG!
Inside I was freaking out but on the outside I stayed calm.
Y/n- 'I mean, Of course. I'd love too!'
Diane- 'Great! So we leave tommorow morning so pack tonight and we will sort the flights and hotels and all that. Does that sound alright'
Y/n- 'Yes of course, thank you so much!'
