Chapter 14

Tom's PoV-
My parents didn't know the circumstances of them coming over. I never told them about y/n so I was more nervous than ever before, especially since this means so much more than anytime before. Y/n wasn't really stressing as much as me but I could tell she would be on the inside.

The clock struck 16:00 and there was a knock on the door.

I looked at y/n and gave her a massive hug to reassure her.
Tom-   'I love you!'
Y/n-    'I love you too, thanks for doing this'
She had never said I love you before so a smile came across my face, that made me happy.

I walked over to the door and opened the door, there was my parents, I thought my brothers would of came but they weren't there, so I was a bit confused.
Nikki-    'Hello stranger'
Tom-   'Hi mam hi dad, come in and sit down'
Dom-    'I'll put the kettle on, for a nice cup of tea'
Tom-   'Where are Harry, Sam and paddy?'
Nikki-    'Oh they are still down at the car they'll not be long'
She looked at my dad then back at me with a suspicious look on her face.

They still hadn't seen y/n yet since she was in the living room and we were in the kitchen still, so I'm guessing she's nervous, I would be.

I hear some talking outside my apartment in the corridor, it was my brothers, but I heard another persons voice, a girls voice!
I didn't know who it would be, i mean the only person it could be is my mam but she's already inside.
They walked in, I became really confused, very quickly.
Nikki-    'Ah look who took there time'
Harry-     'Oh sorry ahhaha, we couldn't get the bag out of the boot it was really really heavy'
Nikki-    'Oh wait Tom sorry, look who we bumped into in the streets, it's Zoe'

I looked round the corner and sam and Zoe walks round into the room. All I could think of was y/n in the other room, she has no idea.
My mam and dad talk to Zoe for a while, trying to get me involved in the conversation, but I wasn't having any of it, I was completely out of it still thinking of y/n, and how bad it's gonna be.

Dom-    'Should we go into the living room'
Tom-    'Erm I have to talk to you and mam quickly before anyone goes in there'
Nikki-    'Sure, what's this about?'
Tom-     'In private!'
We went into my room and sat on my bed.
Tom-    'Sooo.... I need to tell you guys something..........basically I have been seeing someone recently'
Nikki-     'Really!' I saw the judgy look on her face start to appear.
Dom-    'Well who is this new girl, because I'd she's anythin like the others then it won't last long, will it?'
Tom-     'We met on the film set, she's an intern at a newspaper company and there are doing some article thing for the movie, and we really get along and she's really nice'
Nikki-    'Well I want to meet this girl'
Tom-     'Well that's kinda what I wanted to tell you. She's kind of in my living room waiting to meet you'
Both-    'What! Well let's go, now!'
We walked into the kitchen and I saw that Zoe wasn't in there.
Shit.
She must be in the other room with y/n.

Y/n PoV-
I was sat on the sofa, and I heard some voices in the kitchen, they were here. I was freaking out, I didn't know what to expect.

They were taking there time, I got a little bored. Then suddenly the door burst wide open, and it gave me a shock and I jumped.
It was a girl, and she wasn't in toms family so I was a little confused as to who she is.
Zoe-    'Who are you!'
She looked shocked, which I can't really blame her, I mean I would to if I saw a random girl sitting in the sofa.
Y/n-    'Erm...... I'm y/n, who are you!'
Zoe-   'I'm Zoe, I am toms ex but I'm a friend of the family's, so how do you know toms family'
What? How? Why is she here? Is this the girl they always compare to?
Y/n-    'Wait your Toms.....ex'
How could this be happening.
Zoe-    'Yeh, so are you gonna answer my question hahahaha'
Y/n-    'Oh sorry yeh, I am with Tom'
Zoe-    'And by that you mean yous are dating'
Y/n-     'Yeh, I hope this isn't weird'
Zoe-     'Oh no, no it's been years since me and Tom were engaged!'
