"Fuck you."

Gavin’s Pov
I kick my feet up on my desk, staring at my computer screen but not doing the work presented on it. It was late in the afternoon and I felt it was better to procrastinate then actually do some work. It wasn’t even fully because I just didn’t want to do it, but that I couldn’t focus. I haven’t been sleeping well and concentrating on something for more than ten minutes became a challenge. Rubbing my hands over my face, I stare at the screen again. After a few seconds, the words seem to move around and become a big blob. I decide it’s time for a coffee break, and stand up, shuffling toward the cafeteria. On my way, I have to pass Connor’s desk, the android sent by Cyberlife that was meant to help on cases. I only knew this because it said it every fucking day. I instantly hated the thing and whenever I could, I messed with it. So when I passed its desk, I gave its chair a hard kickback, sending it flying.
“Oops! Sorry!” I say innocently when it hits the floor, its LED light turning red. “Didn’t see you there.”
Connor says nothing and calmly picks itself up, pulling its chair up with it. It never did react to anything I did and I have to say, that pissed me off. Hank was a different story.
“What the fuck is your problem!” he growls, storming up to me and grabbing me by my jacket. He pulls me toward his face and I smirk at his rage.
“What are you so pissed off for? It’s just a piece of plastic. It doesn’t care.”
“Doesn’t mean you have to fucking pick on him!” he screams, shaking me a bit.
“Him? It’s not a person dibshit, why are you protecting it?” My smirk then turns into a grin and I make a kissy face. “What, you WOVE it?”
Hank pulls back his fist and I tense up for a fight. Before anything can happen, however, a heavy hand falls on my shoulder.
“Parden me, but this isn’t necessary. Release him and go back to your station.”
The voice didn’t sound like anyone in the office. I turn back to see who the voice belonged to, my eyes widening, then glaring.
An android, looking much like Conner with gray eyes but at the same time looking completely different from it, stands behind me. Its outfit is a bit different from Conners and on its chest is a label: Rk900. It’s glassy eyes stare down at me and Hank, since It’s a bit taller than Hank and much taller than me.
“Who the fuck are you?” Hank and I both ask, our eyes darting to each other for a second, then looking back up at the android.
“My name is Rk900, I’m the android sent by Cyberlife. My name is Rk900 but I’m frequently called…” It pauses. “Nines.”
Hank opens his mouth to say just as Connor walks over and interrupts.
“Ah, your here early. I’m Connor, the android sent by Cyberlife before you. You’re requested in the Captain’s office. He’s expecting you.”
Rk900’s eye wanders over to Connor and they both look to be scanning each other, they’re LED light’s turning a bright yellow. Hank and I look at each other, then back at the androids. He still has his fist pulled back but the grip on my collar loosens a bit. After a few seconds, they’re lights turn blue and they nod, as if satisfied with one another. Connor then turns to Hank.
“We still have a case to solve lieutenant. If you will?”
Hank glares at me before shoving me back. I bump into Rk900 who grabs both of my shoulders to steady me. The two walk away and I shrug its hands off me.
“Don’t phcking touch me tin-can or I’ll turn you into tomorrows trash, got it?!”
I grab the top of its jacket, having to reach up a bit and pull it down to my eye level. Its eyebrows furrow as it scans my energy and face. It then relaxes and I can tell it doesn’t take me as a serious threat since it’s LED light didn’t change.
“Got it?!” I hiss, shaking the jacket I have clenched in my fist.
It grabs my arm and yanks it away from the collar of its shirt. "Refrain from touching me or we shall find ourselves in a nasty situation."
