Surprise, surprise. Another chapter.
"Fuck you."
By, Lucky Green.Nines's POV
Tina steps out of the doorway to let us in, shutting the door behind us. She eyes the good I hold before snatching it away and licking her lips."Hell yeah!"I look over Tina's head towards the living room where everyone else was. My first observation is that everyone was wearing onesies of all sorts. Some had to do with Christmas such as reindeer and others were animals. Connor was a light brown puppy with dark brown droopy ears and a tail. On his feet layed a sleeping Sumo. Hank wore one of Santa, Markus of a cow, Simon a reindeer with a bright red nose, North of a panda, and Josh a bear. They chatted from their spots in the living room. Markus, North, and Simon held the three seater couch, Markus in the middle, North on the left of him, and Simon on the right. His cheeks were flushed a soft blue as he spoke to Markus, his introversion showing through his actions like the way he continuously rubbed his arm. North seemed a bit annoyed by it all and repeatedly tried to keep his attention on her. Connor sat on the floor next to Hank's armchair where the man himself actually sat, talking to Josh who sat on the floor with him.
"The onesies?" I question, not feeling the need to have to say more than that.
Hank looks over, the only one not distracted with talking to someone else. "Don't ask me. I lost control of this."
Tina grins, the gesture too wide to be genuine. She sets the tray down on a nearby table and shoves a onesie in each of our arms. "Put it on. I choose them specially for you!"
I unsurely take mine while Gavin shakes his head and turns around to face the door. "Nope. I only came here for the food and even the food isn't worth this shit."
"Nuh-uh. Too late to turn back now," Tina says. She pulls Gavin back by the collar of his shirt and shoves the pjs in his arms. She points him in the direction of the bathroom and off he sulks. "You can change in Hank's bedroom. Just put them on over your clothes. Come out to the living room afterwards."
I nod and do just that. I was stuck being a gray wolf with a fluffy tail trailing behind me. I step out the bedroom at the same time Gavin does in the bathroom across. He was an adorable cyan bunny with long ears sprouting out the hood of the onesie he had pulled over his head. One ear was pointed skyward, the other flat against his head. He still wore his scarf around his neck to hide the graffiti I made on it. I looked him up and down, taking in his adorable figure. He was scowling but in the onesie he was in, it was hard to take him seriously. I open my mouth to comment on it and he quickly ends it before it can start with the wave of his hand.
"Don't you say a phcking word."
He storms off toward the living room where it's then that I notice his white puffy cotton ball of a tail swaying behind him from attached on his butt. I only mentally grin and follow behind him into the living room. Everyone was sitting in a circle, a large jar of flavored jelly beans in the center. Gavin grinned and tried to slowly step back out the room. I press a hand against his back and push him forward.
"Welcome dream ship," Tina grins, standing next to the jar of jellybeans. "You don't mind me taking a picture, do you?" She yanks out her phone and aims the camera at us. "Say Cheese!"
"Fuck off," Gavin hisses. I take an empty spot next to Connor's right and Gavin sits on my left. We just got here and he already looked sick of being around people.
"The game we're playing is Jelly Bean Truth or Dare. Two people grab a jelly bean. If one of them or both of them get a nasty flavored jelly bean, they have to answer any question asked truthfully or do a dare. And to be sure you're answering truthfully..." Tina grabs a lie detector game that she had hid behind her legs. On the front was a child wearing circular rimmed black glasses. He seems to have a surprised expression about the white device placed in front of him. "...we'll be using this. It's been updated for both androids and humans so you androids aren't safe. Now if you get a tasty jelly bean you're safe from answering a question. Understand?"
