quick note: this is rewritten, everything from here till chapter 6 is. i want to take this story in another direction. i honestly hated the way it was going before, sorry for any confusion and hope you enjoy!
also, slight (m) warning here. nothing too graphic. :)
after those three boys had left the dining hall, almost the entire table of boys burst into laughter, some of them slapping bogum on the back for succeeding in making that one guy uncomfortable.
almost. three of them had different reactions.
hoseok, the skinny brunette from earlier, scoffed and got up from his seat on the long wooden table. "why d'you have to be such a dick sometimes?" the laughter stopped after he spoke and all the boys, many irrelevant to the core four friend group, practically gulped at the boy standing.
jung hoseok was a total sweetheart, bright and lively, a human battery for those who needed it. but irritating him is like asking to die. his heart shaped smile disappears and his eyes hone in on you like a predator to prey, it was absolutely terrifying.
the older showed no signs of fear. "what? do you actually feel bad for that loser? he deserves it. he can't even speak a sentence without practically shitting his pants." the other boys erupted in laughter again while another of the annoyed three got up to join hoseok in leaving.
"right, coming from the guy that still uses his winnie the pooh night light from elementary school." the pink haired boy rolled his eyes, practically throwing his trash away in the others' faces before grabbing his backpack to leave. the older's face turns red at this.
park jimin was another national treasure at sonyeondan school. with his mochi little cheeks and endearing smile and lovebug personality, it was practically impossible not to like him. but, similar to hoseok, making him mad isn't something you would want to do.
the two boys get ready to leave the table with pleasure but they couldn't help but stare back at the third boy in expectancy.
taehyung didn't laugh like all the others did but he sure as hell didn't know if he should make a scene like these two. he felt like every eye in the dining hall was on him and like clockwork, taehyung cowered under the pressure. he also didn't want to make bogum think that he was annoyed with him.
jimin raised his eyebrow, silently conversing with taehyung to make him get his ass out of that seat but the blue haired boy stayed still. it wasn't like he was rendered immobile, he made this choice and he was choosing to excuse bogum for his behavior.
taehyung knew that hoseok and jimin would eventually forgive him, they were understanding like that. but he didn't know if bogum would ever forgive him for making him look bad in front of all these people.
the other two sighed in a mixture of defeat and annoyance before walking off to the parking lot, no doubt talking about taehyung and his antics. bogum smirked, knowing he won this tiny, useless argument and it probably did wonders to inflate that already overinflated ego of his.
"do you think they're mad?" some random boy asked, taehyung didn't care to ask any of them what their names were. most of them were soccer players on bogum's team.
bogum shook his head. "psh. no and if they are, i don't care." he glances over at the two boys leaving with no emotions. "if hoseokie and jiminie want to waste away with that loser they can, i'll replace them in seconds."
hearing bogum say this made taehyung wince internally but he kept his mouth shut for the remainder of lunch. in fact, he didn't start speaking till they got in the older's car and started driving to his house. it was okay though, bogum liked doing most of the talking.
