He rolled his eyes "do, any questions?" he asked "um...actually, yes, what is a runner?" I ask, he he closed his eyes, as if remembering something "a runner is where you go out there" he pointed to these big solid concert doors "what's in there?@ I ask "it the maze, and at night, it changes, listen" Newt told me, I stop talking and listen, I could hear the faint scratching against something moving, then something letting out a weird cry "what was that?" I look over at Newt "well, we call them Greivers, but they only come out at night" he shrugged. He touched me on the shoulder "those people there? Those are the runners, and that one right there, that's Minho, head runner, come in, I'll introduce you to him" I nod and he offer his hand, I take it and he pulls me up, we started walking until something hit me in the back, furious, I turn and see a small boy huddled on the ground, and standing a little way off is that Gally kid, he looked up and smile "want to take a shot at it? After all, your a girl, you can say no and we wouldn't care" I smiled "why not?" I walked over and someone in the crowd laughs "this shall be easy" another said, it just got me even more mad "the only rules are, try and survive 5 seconds in the circle without me knocking you out" we started circling each other "sounds easy" I say, he smiled and charged and me, u stayed until the very last second then moved aside, he ran out of the circle "not bad, though that takes no talent" he charged again, this time, I met him full on, trying to push him, but he was stronger, and started pushing me out of the circle, at the last second, I move out of the way "to easy" I smirk, everyone laughs in the crowd, he then kicked my feet, kicking them out from under me, I hit the ground full on to the head, I moan out in pain, but I still get back up, just then, I remembers something "wait" I say, standing up everyone gives me weird looks "I remember my name! I-I'm Allie" I smile at the name, so do a few others, Alby pats me on the back "welcome Allie!" he gave me some of that disgusting stuff, I look at Newt, he gave me a wink and raised his own drink "to Allie" he smiled I lift my drink, and some sentence came to my mind, I say to the people around me "bottems up" I drink the stuff, it tasted a little better because I already tried it, Isurorised myself by swallowing the stuff "hey! Welcome Allie" Gally extended his hand "your quite strong, no one could push me out of the circle twice" he smiled, I nod back and look around, I see Minho sitting by those other runners, I walk up and ask "hi, um, how's being a runner?" I ask, he looked up and shrugged "it's a change of scenery, kind of, we run our ass al day, get back, and then tell what we see, so far, nothing" he looked back down "I want to be a runner" he laughed at that comment "well, you have to look at the other jobs first" he shrugged again "but you could ask Alby, you could be useful" he then got up, bid goodnight, and left, someone tapped my shoulder, I turn to see Teresa "come in, I'll show you where your sleeping, I nod and follow her, on our way, we saw Newt and Thomas talking "goodnight guys" I say, Thomas smiled "goodnight" and Newt smiled, "goodnight, Love" my heart did this weird thing, I smiled and turned to Teresa "you get to sleep where I sleep, we're Roomates, I think that's what they call it" she smiled and took my hand.
