I blink my eyes, every part of my body aches, especially my leg, where I got stung. I tried to get up, but a hand pushed me back down "I've been lying here for what? Three days?" Maybe I exaggerated that a little, I was in the Medjacks room for about a day and a half, but it felt like years, lying there "why can't I go!" Newt rolled his eyes "because, you would fall over, you got about another day before they can even think about taking you off of bed rest" I sigh "great, I mean, don't get me wrong, the ceiling is an amazing view" I say sarcastically " yes, it is a wonderful view, you'll have to thank Gally for that" Newt replied dryly "your no fun Newt" I say, and he just rolled his eyes again "whatever then, if you don't want to get better, fine by me" now it was my time to roll my eyes "of course it's not fine by you!" He turned, something like anger and grief mixed in his eyes "look, all I do around here is care! Alby got stung, and seeing him there, in pain, it hurts, then there's you, watching you in pain also, covered in blood, just laying there, dying every once-" he stopped "never mind he was about to go when I grabbed his wrist "what do you mean! Alby got stung, a-and I died?" He sighed "it's the gievers, they came last night, and he got in the way of one, they took Gally, oh and yes, you died about three times, but then somehow, you revived yourself" he shrugged "oh, uh, ok?" I don't know what to say "see you soon" he took his hand away and left, leaving me, alone, to think about what he said.

After another long, boring day, the Medjacks decided that I could go outside for about five minutes, and see how I was doing, once I got outside, I felt a lot better "ok, we decided that you could leave the Medjacks den, but you can't be a runner, at least for another two weeks" Newt said casually, it must've shown how sad I was, not being a runner! For TWO weeks! He patted me on the shoulder "it's ok, I mean, your safer..." But I didn't listen, I ran, I ran as fast as I could to the doors, it was noon, I was about to go into the maze when something stopped me, I realized that someone pushed me over, it was Thomas "hey! What do you think your doing!" He asked, that's when I start to cry "they said I can't be a runner! I'm stung and I remember! All the horrible stuff we did" I let it all out "wait what do you mean?" He asks, helping me up "Thomas, we did this to them"he tries to stop me "Thomas, you, Teresa and I, we created the maze.

It's dark out, and I'm sitting outside, I haven't seen Teresa, my sister, for a while, I wonder where she is. "Hey, Allie, shouldn't you go inside now?" Someone asks, I turn to see Teresa "hey, um, there's something you should know..." I say, she sits beside me "I-I remember, everything" she nods for me to continue, and I tell her, about how she's my sister, how our Brother died, how our Father killed our mother, then the people in the white suits killing him, how they took our memories "do you remember why they put us here" Teresa asks, sounding surprisingly calm for what I've been telling her "no, just how we had a part in making the maze" she nods and points to the doors "why aren't they closing?" She asks, yes, why aren't they closing "Newt!" I call, he pokes his head out "what?" I point to the doors "they aren't closing" as the words come out of my mouth, there's was a small shrieking noise, and the Grievers started pouring out of the doors and into the glade.
