"A-anong..." Hindi ko maituloy ang sasabihin ko nang malapit na sya sakin. The emcee was still busy calling names of girls para doon sa dalawang walang partner.

I glanced at Mavi when the girl picked him as her partner. He smiled at the girl and looks like she's his classmate.

Agad namang bumalik ang mga mata ko sa taong nasa harapan ko. His brows were up and looking at me darkly.

"Pipiliin mo pa talaga," He said.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Bakit ka pa kasi nag-volunteer?!" I hissed.

"Bakit hindi?" He arched his brow.

I sighed deeply and equaled his look.

"Edi sana-"

"Partner mo na yung crush mo? And what, you think I'll let you?" He scoffed.

"Hindi ako informed na possessive boyfriend ka pala!" I sarcastically said.

Hindi nya 'ko sinagot pero nanatili syang nakatingin.

"We're not even real-"

"You know my answer to that!" He hissed.

The staffs of the game gave us newspaper. The music started and the players started dancing. Napatingin ako kay Basty na pinagmamasdan ang ibang players at huminga ng malalim.

The music stopped at sa unang try, we both fit inside the newspaper so wala pang hawakan na nagaganap.

He folded the newspaper and it was rectangular shape. The music started again and the players danced. It was smooth dahil wala kasya pa naman kaming dalawa. Until it was folded again.

Medyo malaki ang paa ni Basty at mukhang sa space na 'to, paa nya lang ang kasya.

"I'll carry you," Saad nya habang tumutugtog ang music.

"Ayoko nga!" Angal ko.

"You want us to lose, then?" He asked.

Aaminin kong competitive naman ako sa larong 'to pero kailangan pa ba 'yon? Pero narealize ko na mas mapapabilis ang deal namin kapag ginawa namin 'to. This being touchy thing. Liane might realize that dapat sya ang hinahawakan ni Basty ng ganito!

"Fine," sagot ko.

The music stopped, Basty stepped onto the newspaper and carried me bride style. Halos mapatili ako nang buhatin nya 'ko.

While the emcees were still counting and suspecting, I glanced at our friends. Parang mga tanga sila Kiel na tili ng tili habang sina Aliyah naman ay kinikilig then my eyes drifted to Liane, ibang iba ang mukha nya compared kina Aliyah. It was like she doesn't like what's happening.

"It's working," Bulong ko kay Basty.

He looked at me, confused.

I pointed my head at the direction where Liane was and he glanced at her.

His lips parted when he saw her.

I can feel it. She likes Basty too but she's still not admitting yet. Bakit kaya? Napansin ko yan kahapon noong si Basty ang pinili nya kaysa kay Bianca. Why isn't she admitting it yet? Is it because of me? She can talk to me directly and I can honestly tell her what's between us pero sa tingin ko that's not my job. Si Basty dapat ang magsabi dahil sya ang nagpasimuno nito and he's the one who has feelings for her!
