"Why are you all quiet?"
Simula nang pagdating namin sa school, hindi kami naguusap usap. Basty would always be the one initiating the conversation but it ends early, eventually.
What happened last night was still fresh to us. Si Bianca, hindi ako gaanong kinakausap, si Maxi naman, nagiiwas tingin kapag nagtatama ang mata namin. Kiel, Ian and Zack were emotionless. Tahimik sila ngayon.
Si Basty naman, ang sabi nya saakin kagabi noong tinanong ko kung nasaan sya, ang sabi nya nag-CR daw sya. Kaya ngayon, walang ka-alam alam sa nangyari.
Ngayong naman, nasa cafeteria kami. It's lunchtime, and nobody dared to talk.
"Guys?" Nakatayo si Basty ngayon, hindi pa umuupo dahil nagtataka kung bakit kami tahimik lahat.
"Zack-"
"We know the deal about you and Ava," Maxi cut him off.
Basty looked shocked at Maxi na para bang hindi nya inaasahan na sabihin 'yon ni Maxi. Then he looked at me, I looked away and swallowed.
"W-what..." He looks confused at me.
"That you're just faking your relationship for you to get Liane jealous!" Bianca said irritated.
I glanced at Basty and saw him looking seriously at me. My heart boomed at that. It's my fault, really. Kung bakit nalaman nila. I told Aliyah about it first then, she got excited about us kaya nalaman nila Maxi.
"No, you don't understand-"
"Ano bang hindi namin naiintindihan, Basty?! You guys fooled us! You could've just told us the truth and hell, susuportahan ka naman namin kay Liane!" Bianca said frustratedly.
Bianca calmed herself down first before speaking again but Maxi spoke first.
"So you're faking your relationship? All this time?" Maxi scoffed.
"We're not mad, okay? We're just pissed. Friends don't fool friends," Zack said softly.
"W-we're sorry, okay?" I started.
I've thought of this clearly last night. Inisip ko na sabihin sakanila ang totoo tungkol sa deal namin, umpisa palang... not the latter one. I want that to be only between us, it's something special about us.
"Basty.. likes Liane.. and I-I can see that h-he likes her so much so.. he asked me to help him get her.." I swallowed hard, trying not to let my tears fall.
"Ava.." Basty tried to stop me but failed.
