Daryls POV
as i walked down the stairs to get Beth some water thought about last night and how perfect it was when i reached the bottom step i realized everyone one was up they all said hi so i said it back as i continued walking into the kitchen to fetch my beautiful Beth a glass of water. i got the lass and ran the tap filling the cup the quarters of the way full,then turned to make my descent back to the bedroom. as i exited the kitchen i heard Maggie gasp so i turned my head to her " what ?' i asked sounding concerned
"what happened to your neck" she asked looking very concerned and confused
i put my hand on my neck and realized there was a bump there that hurt. i then remember Beth biting my neck last night so she wouldn't scream. when she did it , it got me going. i put my attention back on Maggie and answered.
" umm.. i don't think you really wanna know " i said in a small voice looking at the ground
"omg Daryl did Beth bite you when you guys were having a fight or something that so not like her do you want me to talk to her for you" after she said that i looked at her with a face that said she was no where close to the answer. then Beth came prancing down the stairs in one of my button up shirts that was way too big for her.
" oh Daryl I'm sorry i didn't realize i left a big bruise on you." she said sounding quite sorry.
" okay wait a second what happened to Daryl's neck I'm really confused" Maggie asked
" oh well i don't think you really want to know Maggie i mean really its kinda personal" then it clicked for her and her face turned sour
" OH.... MY.....GOD " she said drawing out the words " why did you bite him when you were doing ... ya know .... it "
Beth giggled " well i didn't wanna wake you guys up by screaming'
" ew ew ew ew my sisters a screamer not something i needed to know I'm sorry i ever asked you to go have fun" she said as she walked away
" i believe i made a promise to you Mr.Dixon" Beth said looking up into my eyes and playing with my free hand
" damn straight you made me a promise" and with that she ran pulling me up the stairs an climbed into bed. i handed her the water and she sipped it as i climbed in beside her. and she kept her promise.
we cuddled there for about half an hour talking and just cuddling till rick came knocking at the door" we are headin out in about 10 minutes i expect you two to be fully clothed and in your truck by then "
i laughed and Beth giggled " okay well be down in five" i replied. Beth kissed me on the cheek then got up and started packing and changing into her own clothes.
10 minutes later
i was holing Beth's hand in mine as we drove she looked out the window and then occasionally back at me.
" hey bethy ?" i ask
" yeah " she replied
" do you think you could sing for me "
" of course any requests" she said happily
"i don't know anything you want "
" okay hmm lemme think" she sat for a moment in thought then i saw the light bulb go off
Beths POV
i wanted to pick a song about love that i could sing to Daryl telling him that I love him an that i always will love him so i pick a thousand years by Christina Perri.

" I love you Beth " Daryl said as he pulled my hand up to hi lips and kissed it
" i love you more" i said with a smile
" not possible" he said with a completely serious face.
"1 hour until were in Edmonton" i heard Daryl voice say waking me from a deep slumber. it was pitch black outside you could see nothing but the headlights of the cars
" Daryl do you really think well be safe up there" i asked him in somewhat neutral voice
" wouldn't kill me ta have little faith" he said and smiled at her " yes i really do think everything will be somewhat safe up there. "
"good i replied and fell back asleep.
Daryls POV
we had finally gotten to Edmonton and we were going to stop at a small house just outside the city. when we found one we pulled our vehicles into the drive way and me and rick went in to scope everything out we found 5 walkers i took out three and rick took out two. when we walked back out we told everyone what the deal was.
" okay so there a four rooms and of us not including Judith so someone going to have ta sleep in the living room"
" ill go with carol" tyrees said
" Glenn and i will obviously go together" said Maggie
"me Carl and Judith and Michonne can sleep in the same room" said rick " someone will just have to sleep on the couch in the room " he looked at Carl and he sighed
"Beth and i can go together" i said grabbing her hand tight in mine
" ill sleep on the couch " said Sasha the only one without a partnerr
"okay i guess it settled its pretty late so everyone should get to bed after having something to eat but Daryl i need your help with something before you and i eat" rick nodded to me i squeezed Beth's hand and kissed her on the fore head then went over to rick. " what do ya need??" i asked
" well Daryl we need to set up some noise makers and some barbed wire around the perimeter it will only take about 5 minutes if ya don't mind " rick answered
" don't mind at all lets get to it" i said grabbing my Cross bow that was laying against a cabinet near the front door
we walked and grabbed all the materials from the back of ricks black SUV and began setting up the perimeter when we were finished i bent down an grabbed my cross bow. i was standing very close to the barbed wire now as i slung the bow across my shoulder felt it catch on the barbed wire but it was stuck in such an awkward position i could get it off with out slicing my leg pretty deep before rick came over and helped me.
" damn Daryl your leg it bleedin real bad " i knew he was right because i could feel my eyes get heavy right before i blacked out the last thing i hear is Maggie yelling at someone to get bandages and to get a needle and thread so she could stitch my leg . before gong completely numb i remembered back to when we were looking for Merle and i told rick that Merle was one tough sum bitch then rick saying " loss of blood can kill any man no matter how tough" then everything went completely black.
