Beth's POV
we had been tracking for 2 weeks now,we think we are close to Maggie and glenn because we found daddy's ol' stop watch that he gave Glenn before he died.
I couldn't sleep and Daryl was outside our tent on first watch so i decided to climb out and join him.
" hey what are you doing up?" he asked and he turned his head in my direction
"i couldn't sleep, thinking about my sister and what were gonna do when we find her" i say as i sit down beside him on the dirt. he grabs my hand an hold it close to him as he brings it up to his lips and softly kisses it. i crawl over onto of him and sit on his lap well kissing his rough lips. moving down from his lips to his neck making him let out a quite moan.he then grabs my face and deepens the kiss. this goes on for a few minutes until i hear carols tent zipper slide open i turn my head around still on top of Daryl when caryl and my eyes meet.
"um its my turn for watch you two can go to sleep now " she said looking at us then back at the ground
" oh okay thanks carol" Daryl replied as he got up he pulled me into the tent by my hand an i fell on top of him when he fell into bed.
Daryl POV
Beth was sofly sleeping in my arms.maggie is gonna kill me if she ever finds out.
the sun had come over the horizon a few hours ago and Beth was still sleeping at least i thought she was before she turned her head toward mine, looking straight into my eyes well pushing her fingers threw my hair
"good morning sleepy head" i said as i kissed the palm of her hand that laid on my cheek.
" good morning to you to" she giggled
it was then we heard the scream
we both jumped up with our knifes ready to fight. we got out of the tent and saw three walkers on the ground dead and tyrese's toe in one of their mouths.
"oh my god tyrese" Beth said as carol lay beside him historically crying
i ran over to him " OK ty what I'm gonna have to do is cut the rest of that toe off then burn it to seal the veins are you ready " he nodded back to me
the next ten minutes all you could hear was screams and walkers dying as Beth and carol killed walkers that decided to pass threw the camp. there was about 10 walkers but we needed to finish tys foot and get a move on because his screams would be attracting more with every passing second.
" okay were done carol get all the supplies Beth help me carry ty to the car so we can get going " i ordered
when we got to the car we saw something unbelievable
" MAGGIE !!! GLENN!!!" said Beth and after she put ty down i the car she ran over to them and hugged them
" Beth we gotta go " i urged as carol came running our way " lets all just get in the car the herds gonna be coming this way any second "
"right sorry Daryl okay guys lets get in the car there is allot i need to tell you but that can wait till later"
we all ran into the car and i floored it sending every ones head back after we got a reasonable distance away i slowed down . Beth was in the passenger seat beside me and Glenn and Maggie sat side by side in the back with carol on the far left side. i grabbed Beth's hand and held it in mine i could see Maggie get Little confused so i gave Beth a nice friendly squeeze and released her hand hoping Maggie would think nothing of it . i then saw her shrug it off like it was nothing . i wonder what she was thinking.
Maggie's POV
looked at Daryl and Beth's hands intertwined in between them and i am a little confused because Daryl isn't the touchy feeling kind of guy. but when he lets go he gives her a squeeze. hes probably just happy that were all together.
we were on the road for a few hours before we found a huge home with 10 bedroom, 5 bathrooms , and a huge kitchen and living room and that wasn't even the best part it had a backup generator which meant that we go to have hot showers and be clean, it also meant there was heat.
it took us about half an hour to clear the House there were only two zombies in all so it was pretty easy. when we finished clearing carol and i started on dinner which was just some old canned soup and a couple squirrel Daryl caught but it was a better meal than any of us had had in days.
we sat down in the dinning room for dinner and started to talk it wasn't until i saw Beth and Daryl sitting side by side with there fingers intertwined that i realized something was going on here then Beth said she had to tell us something. and i didn't like where this was headed.
Daryls POV
when Beth said she had to tell them something i saw Maggie tense up.
" okay well I'm really happy with what I'm about to tell you" she paused and looked at me " so let me just say it me and Daryl are like together"
"holy shit " i heard Glenn say under his breath
" What !! thats way better than what i thought you were gonna say but its still gonna take some time to be okay with it, i mean Daryl you are quite a bit older than my sister but i guess it coul work you two are pretty cute together"
" aw thanks mags but... what did you think i was gonna say " Beth asked
" well i thought you were gonna say you were pregnant " Maggie said
" woah " i said and everyone laughed
" woah is right that is not happening anytime soon trust me " beth said in a giggly voice
we finished dinner and most of us went to bed. Beth stayed up a little while to help me make some bolts for my cross bow but she got tired so i carried her to bed and then went back to work. Maggie was taking a shower when i put Beth to bed but it sounded like she was done now. and she definitely was she came down stairs in a black tank top and sweat her hair was up in a messy bun she sat in the chair across from me .
" hi " i said in a very low and quite tone
" Hi Daryl I'm just gonna get straight to the point i know your gonna protect my sister from harm, but she seems to really like you and you seem to really like her i just don't want you or her getting hurt cause it was a little school girl or boy crush you had on each other" she was about to go on but i stopped her
" Maggie you don't need to worry ill protect her with my life i would never hurt her physical or emotionally. but i am really tired so if you don't mind I'm gonna go to bed" i said in a calm relaxed voice
" no i don't mind goodnight Daryl take goo care of her " Maggie hollered as i walked up the stairs
i walked into the room and realized that Beth had just taken a shower after i put her up to bed. i knew she had just taken a shower because she was looking threw drawers trying to find something to cover her naked body i quickly turned around and cleared my throat.
" Daryl don't be such a pussy we both knew you were gonna see me naked some day " she said
i laughed and turned around and i myself got changed into something more comfortable for sleep. once we changed we climbed into bed i wrapped my arms around her as she faced me and stroked my hair. she gave me a quick peck n the lips then began to speak looking me straight in the eyes. her ocean consumed me.
"I love you Daryl Dixon"
"I love you Beth soon to be Dixon"
