There it was. The Temple. We woke up bright and early. I found the Temple and me and Kanan opened it. Ezra followed us as we walked slowly through the doors. Skeletons of old Jedi laid undisturbed on the ground. Layers of dust and dirt was kicked up by our boots.

"So what am I looking for?"

"Nothing and everything." Ezra and Kanan said simultaneously, I stepped closer to the door. Hesitating.

"Hey, just remember I don't want to die in here so hurry it up." Ezra said, sarcasm lacing through his voice. Kanan elbowed his side before turning to face me.

"We'll be waiting when you return." He said with a smile before turning me to face the door again. This is it. The Force will decide if I can become a Jedi.

"Remember, nothing and everything." He whispered before nudging be through the stone door. I gave him one last smile before the door slammed down behind me. I was alone now. My hand went to my holster. Fingers drumming against the blaster comfortingly as I tip-toed to the next room. Three door ways greet me. They all looked the same. I chose the one to the right. Walking through it with a confident stride.

"Celeste, you're here!" The voice I only heard in my dreams was suddenly right besides me.

"Dad?" I gasped, a blue lightsaber illuminating his face.

"Here, take this." He handed me a black hilted lightsaber.

"I can't believe you're here!"

"Focus, Celeste, there's a great danger coming."

"Oh, sorry." I ignited the lightsaber, an orange blade spewing out. Dad and me went forward, lightsabers drawn in battle positions.

"It's you, again. Give it up, Finlay." I knew the sharp smile in the dark for anywhere. Those blood red and yellow eyes haunted my nightmares sometimes. The Inquisitor's lightsaber ignited, lighting the whole room as it was bathed in red, orange and blue.

"Never." Dad spat, charging at him. In a flash of clashing lightsabers, the Inquisitor was no longer there. The Sith-Lord had taken away his smile and replaced it with equally terrifying mechanical breathing. I just stood there. Breathing heavily out of fear. I wanted to run away. My heart was practically beating out of my chest in fear. Run away! Run away! My mind screamed at me.

No. Don't run away. This is your chance to kill the Sith-Lord. Save your Father!

With a yell I charged, my saber struck the Sith-Lord's side. He stood their stunned, black armor glinting in the blade's light. He limped over to my Dad. Who just stood there, like he was waiting to get killed.

"Dad! Move! Dad, Dad, NO!" In another flash, the were both on the floor. Limp. Tears begun to form in my eyes as I collapsed to my knees. It was quiet. I chocked up a sob, grabbing my Dad's hand.

"Please, wake up. Don't do this to me again."

"I understand you." A soft voice whispered from behind. I whipped around, jumping to my feet and igniting my Dad's lightsaber.

"Who are you?"

"I'm you, of course." A double sided lightsaber illuminated a figure in the darkness. It was me. Dressed in a dark Jedi robe. The purple blades matching the kyber crystal I wore. The girl, me, twirled the lightsaber smoothly. In a blur of light it turned from purple to orange. Then... red. Crimson red. The girl's eyes turned the same color.

"N-no, please, no." I breathed, stumbling backwards.

"Celeste! Stand back! We'll take care of this!" Ezra and Kanan were suddenly at my side. Clashing lightsabers with me. I stared as I took them down with ease. They both fell to the floor.

"NO! Master! Ezra!" I screamed, crawling over to their already cold bodies. Fight, Celeste! Don't just stand there! With a newfound vigor I put my hands on her double-sided lightsaber. Gripping it tightly, I yanked it from my own hands. Throwing it into the pit behind me.

"You can't hurt people anymore!" I yelled, the girl smirked, producing another lightsaber out of her cloak like it was nothing.

"I know you. Did you really think I'd just bring one?" She laughed, then I felt it again. It was my battle. The darkness and the light. Ever battling, ever changing. The darkness was corrupt with fear. It blinded them. While the light was fearless and it made them stronger. This was the fight. To decide which side I was truly on.

Fearless like a Jedi. Fearless like a Jedi. Fearless like the light. Fearless like the light.

"You don't know me." I replied, a new serenity flowing through me.

"What?" The girl snarled, gripping her lightsaber tighter.

"I'm not you. You're not me and I don't fear you." I said without any words she swung he lightsaber at my head. I closed my eyes, standing my ground as it did no harm. Suddenly I was in a different room. A purple kyber crystal floating in front of me.

"Earned it, you have, Padawan."

"Master Yoda?"

"Hmmm, know me, you do?"

"Kanan, my master, told me about you." I said, looking up at the oblivion I stood in. Stars surrounded me. I was walking on pure space. Somehow breathing.

"Overcome your fear, you must."

"But I did, Master Yoda."

"A constant battle, it will be." I frowned.

"I see, Master."

"Help you, your master will."

"He is a great Master, I agree." I said to the stars.

"What you learned here, never forget, you must."

"Yes, Master Yoda."

"Grow into a powerful Jedi, you can."

"Thank you." I let off a half cocked smile as I put the new kyber crystal in my pocket.

"Waiting, your master is. Go, you must."
