"Is...is that the TARDIS?" Kayla asked.
"Do you like it? Took me forever to make." Marianna lied.
"Wow." she sat up, "Does it fly too?"
"Hahahahahahahaha...pfft. No."
"So, what do you remember from, before you hit your head?" Marianna asked.
"Not much...my sister went out with her boyfriend Harvy, my parents left to some buisness party and...I kept walking downstairs to get something. I kept forgetting what it was..."
"What was it?"
"I can't...I don't remember."
"It's okay." I told her with a soft smile and muttered, "You wouldn't."
I spoke up, "Are your parents getting home late?""Yeah they shouldn't be home for a while." she replied.
"Call them." I requested, "See of you can stay over." I tossed her my phone. "My mum has your number. She should be in the kitchen."
She exited my room.
I walked back into the TARDIS.
"Alright, so what we're dealing with here, is called the Silence." I announced, closing the door.
"What?" The Doctor asked.
"The Silence. It's a religious order from the future. They live under the motto; 'Silence will fall when the question is asked.' Their sole purpose in life is to kill you so you can't answer it."
"What question?"
"...Doctor Who?" She replied mysteriously. She sang under her breath;
"Tick Tock goes the clock,
We laughed at Fate and mourned her,
Tick Tock goes the clock'
Even for the Doctor.
Tick Tock goes the clock,
And he cradled and rocked her,
Tick Tock goes the clock,
Till River kills the Doctor." I got quieter towards the end, incase he'd met River."What on earth are you talking about?!"
"It's just...and old nursery rhyme. Tick Tock, goes the clock. We laughed at fate and mourned her. Tick tock, goes the clock, even for the Doctor." Marianna recited.
"Well that's cheery."
"It's not supposed to happen 'till season 6."
"Could you please explain this to me?!" The Doctor asked. Mari smirked just because I'd never heard him ask anyone that.
"Look, you said you came into a parallel universe. Right?"
He nodded.
"Well, in this universe their's kind of a world-wide, famous, TV show, about you." Mari muttered "....and I'm probably your biggest fan..."
"So...you know every aspect of my life?"
"...I think so." Mari confirmed.
"...Anyways...the silence?" The Doctor asked.
"Yeah, when you look away from them you forget you ever saw them. Some people say that when you walk into a room and forget why you're there, or you're dog barks at nothing, or you experience Déjà Vu, that a silence has crossed you path. I would just show you the season 6 episode, but," Mari said in a River Song voice; "Spoilers!"
The Doctor was, for once, speechless.
"You know what. I might as well show you. Besides, you being here has already drastically altered your timeline." Marianna decided. "C'mon." Mari smiled, "I'll introduce you to my family."
The Doctor looked at Mari in a confused way, but nodded. She led the way out of the TARDIS.
Once out of the TARDIS, she turned to see if the Doctor had followed, but he was gone. The TARDIS and the Doctor had disappeared. There had been no noise. She had only looked away a second. She reached out to touch where it had been. It was gone.
"What?" She muttered. How could it just be gone?
