The sky was filled with a grey gloom as I walked down my quiet neighborhood. Once I entered my home, to my surprise, I heard nothing. I walked farther through my home til I saw my family all together glued to our tv.
"Hey guys-"
"Honey! Come here, listen." My father interrupted. Yet with that, I walked behind them and stared at the tv as well. The news channel was announcing an emergency alert to our whole state. They were showing live footage from news helicopters of other areas within the US being bombed. My mother shielded both of my younger brothers eyes away from the screen.
"Dad, whats going to happen?" I ask as a feeling of fear begins to overwhelm me. He doesn't respond in any way, no sound, movement, anything. He just continues to stare blankly at our tv. I drop my school bag on the floor and do the same as my father. As the news continue to show our country collapsing a knock is heard from our door. We all freeze and look toward our front door, a black van can be seen outside through our windows. However, no one decides to get up or move to get it, we all stay completely still. Due to this, the person or people outside begin to loudly bust on our door. My body starts to get stiffer and stiffer with each loud bang in which is made. I want to move, but it seems like my body is asleep and fear is the only thing in control. Once the door busts open, we see three men enter, all in black, come up to us.
"Is this the..." one says looking down at a folder with very little papers inside.
"L/N family?"
"Yes, what is that you want and who are you men?" My father says finally standing up at my side. They stare at each other and walk toward me, one then grabs my arm and pulls me toward him. I try to pull away but they were obviously stronger than I ever was. I look back and see my father run toward me and one of the men then hold him back. I hear my mother and brothers cry out in sadness as they pull me through my front door.

We have been traveling through the state within this van for almost an hour now. Ive already emptied out any emotion I had once I was torn away from my home. Then I got thrown within the back and not spoken to since we left. I've tried to look out the front window to at least try and infer where we might be going. However, I have no memory of every being around this area before. Maybe we travelled farther than I thought. The longer we travelled the darker the skies got and hues of red began to emerge from the distance. Most likely fires from where bombs were already dropped. Yet we weren't going toward them, we were going away. After sometime, we entered a wooded area and the skies were completely filled with black. As I quietly sit in the back, we come to a stop and I hear a gate of some sort open. We then carry on at a much slower pace and on a much rockier road. We eventually come to a complete stop and they all come to the back with me. They pull out a wooden box and hand me a suit that was within there. I quietly wait until one of them begins to get dressed in the suit as well. Once zipped up one of them sits up and opens up the back doors. The sky is filled with fog and we are surrounded by giant woods. They lead me around the van to a metal spiral structure in the middle of the woods. Once we approach, there is an opening, they open it for me but do not enter. They shut the metal door behind me and I am surrounded by metal walls and many vents.
"Stand on the platform in the middle of the room." A static voice over an intercom demanded. I shuffled onto the platform and waited in anticipation for something to happen. Then suddenly a white steam shot down onto me from an above vent. Once the vent got shut off, another door opened to a dark long hallway. My body stiffened as I walked inside the eerie hall, the door behind me then shut abruptly, causing me to jump. After a long silence I finally unzip my suit and get out of it since I was inside. As I step out of the suit onto the wooden floor, I hear a cane boom down the hall. I look up to see a shadow of a slender tall women at the end of the hall.
