"Hey, Captain, Salomea. Did you make any sense of the King's prophecy?" Diane asks, as we make our way back to the Boar Hat.
"Nope." I respond.
"Well, well, well." Meliodas responds. "The one thing I know is that something big might be happening in Camelot."
Suddenly, a massive tremor shakes the ground. My eyes widen and I slump back. Luckily, Meliodas catches me.
"Hey, what is it, Meliodas and Salome? It's not like you two to be scared stiff." Hawk questions.
"Th-they!" I stutter, gasping.
"They're... awake!" Meliodas shouts.
*
"Meliodas-sama, you're acting strange." I hear Elizabeth say as I climb down the stairs. "You too, Lady Salomea. Did something happen?"
Meliodas then gropes Elizabeth.
"Meliodas, you pervert!" I yell, before discreetly following Elizabeth, who walks out the door.
"You're saying the captain wasn't acting like himself?" I hear Diane ask Elizabeth.
"Yeah, is there any reason you can think of as to why?" Elizabeth responds.
"Hmmm... now that you mention it, yesterday..."
"Yesterday? You think it's because of my father's request?" Elizabeth asks.
"No, not that. But you remember that tremor we all felt just after that?"
"Y...yeah, we were all surprised by it."
"Right after that, the captain definitely seemed a little of. Salome, too. It was only for a second, but the captain seemed awfully riled up. And we all saw Salome's reaction. I'd never seen them like that before."
"You'd never seen who like what before?" I ask, walking up to them and pretending I hadn't heard their talk.
Diane and Elizabeth blush.
"Oh, it was nothing, really. We were just talking about your reaction to the tremor."
"Oh, that! Don't worry, I'm fine now. I just got a bit shaken up. Now, I've got some business to take care of, so I'll see you two later. Bye!" I wave, walking away.
*
"Well, I am leaving." I hear Gowther say. "Bye bye."
I walk in, just as Gowther heads out, Diane soon also heading out.
"Hello, Merlin." I tell her. "You wanted to talk to me?"
"Yes, about what happened yesterday." she responds.
"Sure. Besides, Meliodas is outside. He'll be in in a moment." I reply.
"Heya!" Meliodas says, as he enters.
"I knew you'd be here soon, Captain." I say.
"Merlin. I want you to give back to me... what you stole on the day we were chased out of the kingdom, ten years ago!" Meliodas says, looking straight at Merlin.
"Does this have anything to do with that powerful shockwave the other day?" Merlin asks.
I sigh. "That was a sign that the seal on the demon clan has been partially lifted. Which means Hendrickson is still alive."
"That's not the problem here." Meliodas interrupts. "The problem is the awful guys who were resurrected.
"The Ten Commandments." we say in unison. "The elite unit that works directly under the Demon Lord!"
