Meliodas, enraged, leaps for Drole, cutting off two of his arms, while the powerful giant goes wide-eyed in surprise.
"I'll kill you first." he hisses, before punching the giant yet again.
My eyes go wide as Meliodas is sent flying through the air.
"I must say, that was a close one. That almost sent me packing to the afterlife." Gloxinia says, resplendent in the fifth form of Basquias, Yggrasil Armour. "I'll restore you in no time, so just hold tight, Drole-kun. We're going to turn this match right around between the two of us."
I grip Order tightly, my goddess eyes being revealed as I leap up towards Gloxinia, attacking him with the sword, and shattering his armour.
"Give it up." I say to the surprised Commandments. "You don't stand a chance."
"Four beings who once fought together to bring down the Demon Lord are now enemies... Fate really is ironic." Gloxie says calmly.
"Meliodas... Salomea... I want to hear how you really feel. You don't actually want a fight to the death, do you?" he asks calmly.
"No, I don't." I say honestly, and everyone looks at me in surprise. "But I know both the reasons and feelings behind why you two turned over to the other side."
"Gloxie... you were betrayed by those you trusted." I continue. "You were robbed of something you valued more than your own life. Drole-kun... you were a warrior who always aimed to be the strongest. But that precious pride of yours was trampled and crushed underfoot."
Gloxinia looks shocked.
"If you really feel this way, then why-"
I cut him off.
"But... the moment you went to the dark side, everything changed."
As I do this, Meliodas and I leap for the Commandments of Patience and Repose.
"Too bad..." Gloxie smirks.
Spirit Spear Basquias: First Form Basquias.
"...for you!"
Basquias hits Melio, sending him flying back.
"Salome!" he cries weakly. "Get the others out of here."
"But, Captai-" I protest feebly.
"Do it! I can handle them. And whatever you do, don't come back."
I dip my head in respect, before teleporting into the area where the others are contained.
"Come on. We're leaving." I say.
"You can move this huge crowd in one go?" Diane asks in surprise.
"I can try." I say, turning to the magician. "Gilfrost, was it? You can help me."
He nods, and together we teleport everyone to the castle of Liones.
I watch the fight, using my magic, as Melio in his demon form easily takes on the two demons.
"The Commandments should never have been allowed to awaken! It would be no exaggeration to say that they are walking natural disasters!" Gilfrost cries angrily.
"But... what about Meliodas-sama?" Elizabeth questions.
"That is why I cannot quell this trepidation." Gilfrost answers mysteriously, pulling out a crystall orb, which shows the battle.
"For Meliodas shall triumph."
I watch as Melio carves another deep gash into Drole's shoulder, almost cutting off two of his remaining arms.
God Ripper!
"Fuck." I breathe. "This isn't going to end well."
Melio engulfs Drole in demonic flames, but the giant uses Heavy Metal to protect himself and Gloxie.
Gloxinia then uses Drop of Life to heal himself and Drole, before Melio sends Gloxie flying to the ground.
Drole then attempts to impale Meliodas, but he uses the stone as a means to push himsekf up, leaping to kick Drole in the face.
"The Captain... is incredible!" Escanor exclaims. "He's holding his own... against two of the legendary Ten Commandments."
"You have no idea how strong he is." I say. "Back in the day, Melio and I used to be able to hold our own against nearly all of them. That was with me at full power, of course."
"You're not at full power, Salome?" King asks incredulously.
"No, I'm only at half power. I haven't got my demonic abilities back yet." I reply calmly.
"D...demonic?!!" everyone exclaims.
"I thought you were a goddess!" Ban says accusatively.
"I am." I respond amusedly. "I'm also a demon."
"How is that even possible?" King asks, and I shrug, before turning back to the fight.
"Melio...das..." Gloxie pants. "You're as strong and sentimental as ever. Just like Salome. Why... would you two... side with... those pathetic Humans? There's no saving them."
"If you wanted... you could even claim the throne of the Demon Lord." Drole says, blood dripping from his chin, to gasps from the rest of the Sins and Holy Knights. "I can see it now. You cannot fight unemotionally, and it'll lead you to miserable defeat."
"I had no idea their suffering warped them so badly." I mutter under my breath. "They're so different from 3,000 years ago."
Meliodas seems to be thinking the same thing.
"In that case, I'll end... your suffering for you."
In that split second, I notice a bunch of lights flashing in the sky.
"Fuck!" I yell, as the rest of the Commandments land in Vaizel.
"Meliodas?!" Elizabeth yells.
"He emitted too much bloodlust during this fight! The rest of the Commandments are there!" I say, grabbing Chaos. "I'm going to join him."
"Wait." Gilfrost points out. "Didn't he tell you not to return."
I groan. "Yes, he did. Fuck."
I make a split-second decision. "Too bad. Where's Order? Chaos is useless against the Commandments."
Everyone shrugs.
"Damn it!!"
I watch helplessly as the rest of the Commandments surround Melio, except for Galand, who's nowhere to be seen.
"Hey, where's Galand?" I ask inquisitively.
Ban points to Escanor. "Escanor over here defeated him without breaking a sweat."
I smile at the frail knight. "Well, good for you! Now, where the hell is Order?"
I look back at the Orb, only to see Zeldris toe-to-toe with Meliodas, glaring daggers at him.
Well, he's fucked.
Meliodas, I mean.
