*Third Person POV*

"I've been thinking about this ever since we were freed from the seal." Melascula reveals, head on her hands. "You listening, Zeldris?"

"Yeah." he replies, reaching a hand out. "The rich magic that used to flow out of Britannia 3,000 years ago has dried up. No wonder it's taking so long for us to get our magic back.

Monspeet adds: "The war between the five races was over that very same magic."

Fraudrin-Dreyfus interrupts. "Don't get too disappointed yet." he says, hands crossed and the Demon Mark revealed.

"Hey, you goons! You trying to butt in on our business?!" some unsuspecting human miners shout, unaware of the danger. "This is our territory!"

"Humans...?" Melascula questions, finally looking up.

"The high-quality glass in Edinburgh comes from rocks mined in these parts." the first miner says, jerking a finger to point at the land behind him.

"If you wanna mine here too, then pay up the protection fee!" the second miner pitches in, resting on his shovel.

"The magic overflowing from the land streams into the plants and animals here." Dreyfus continues, ignoring the miners. "The population that's grown here over the past 3,000 years has been absorbing it over time."

"You guys even understand what we're sayin-" the second miner begins before Derieri leaps down in front of him. The man is immediately star struck.

"What's up, toots?" The man asks, before Derieri taps his stomach.

"Paoh!" the man gurgles, before a white sphere is pushed out of his mouth: his soul.

Derieri grabs his soul, stuffing it in her mouth and eating it.

The miner's body slumped, lifeless.

Derieri gulps down the remnants of her soul, hands on her hips.

"W...what'd you do to him?" the first miner stammers, before turning to his friend. "H...hey, snap out of it!"

"How'd it taste?" Melascula questions, referring to the soul."

"I gotta be frank with you." she replies, the darkness on her hand shifting to form a thumbs up. "It'll be killing two birds with one stone.

Monspeet also leaps down to join Derieri, stealing the soul of the other miner. "The flavour's a little off, but the soul does contain some magic. If we eat them now, we could also rid ourselves of this influx of Humans we find ourselves with. Is that what you mean by killing two birds with one stone?" he elaborates.

"Mh-hm." Derieri responds.

"Then let's have our little honeybees gather us a good amount of honey." Melascula states, clasping her hands together and activating her magic: Summoning. The darkness around her begins to swirl, before turning into a portal.

"Fraudrin, is there a human village in the vicinity?" she asks, arms eagle spread and looking up at the portal she's just created. "A big one, if you please."

*Salomea's POV*

I blink, still groggy. Then it hits me. Galand. Zeldris. The Ten Commandments. Then, I hear sobbing. I sit up and look across to see King Arthur.

"Your Highness!" I gasp, slightly embarrassed.

Suddenly, Arthur glomps me in a hug.

I hiss softly, and he releases me, smiling but looking apologetic at the same time.
