Rocky point of view
"Promise you won't tell anyone?"
"I promise." I said. "So what's her name?"
Ty sighed, again hesitated for a second, before responding.
"Tinka Hessenheffer."
My jaw dropped as I watched the words leave his mouth. Did I hear that correctly? My brother, the "cool guy", and most popular boy in school, has a crush on Tinka Hessenheffer?
"Tinka Hessenheffer?!" I exclaimed in shock, as my eyes widened. "Are you serious?"
"Yeah, I kind of figured you have this reaction." Ty admitted.
Apparently, I DID hear him correctly!
"You have a crush on Tinka! I can't believe this! How long has this been going on?" I exclaimed.
"Well," Ty said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "I guess it started after we went on that date almost three years ago."
"Oh yeah, I remember that!" I said.
"Yeah well, that's not it. I tried to ignore it for a while, since it would probably never work out, since we're so different. But, eventually, something made it come back."
"What?"
"Well, you remember when you, Cece and Tinka were planning on leaving 'Shake It Up Chicago!' to work on 'Dance Factor'? And then I almost found out, so you covered it up by saying that Tinka had a crush on me?"
"Yeah, I remember that." I said with a chuckle.
"Yeah, well, I believed you, and I really liked the idea of her liking me. I remember I kept flirting with her and trying to get her attention. Eventually, I found out it was a lie, and, surprisingly, I was REALLY disappointed. I left her alone after that, but something just didn't feel right."
"So you want to be with her?"
"Absolutely. The only problem is that last time I tried to ask her out on a real date, she said that we were so different, so it probably wouldn't work out."
"Okay, I think I get it. I just have one question- what does this have to do with me?" I asked curiously, and slightly confused.
"Well, you and Tinka have become good friends over the past year, right? So you can talk to her, and give me some feedback. You know, find out what she's attracted to. Help me become better boyfriend material in her eyes."
"And if I do this all for you..." I said.
"...I'll let you and Logan go out again." He finished for me.
"Sounds like a plan!" I said.
"Thanks, Rocks. It means a lot." Ty said.
Then, he got up out of his chair, and we shared a small sibling hug.
Logan point of view
About ten minutes after Cece told me to come over, and ended the phone call, I was at the door to her apartment. I lifted my hand and knocked on the door. A few seconds later, someone answered the door. There stood Cece, with a concerned look on her face.
"Hey, Cece." I said with a small smile.
"Hey Logan." Cece said. "Come in."
I entered the apartment, and we both sat down on the couch.
"So let me get this straight." She said. "You got fired from 'Bob's Kabobs'?"
"Yeah." I said, with a low voice.
