Tinka point of view
I looked into the mirror as I finished putting on my mascara. It was Saturday. Tonight was the night that Ty and I were to go on our second date. I was pretty nervous, but at the same time, excited. Tonight's date is more casual than our last. This time we're just going to have dinner at Crusty's and hopefully have a nice conversation.
I sat down on my couch and looked at the clock on the wall. It was 7:03. Ty should be here any minute now to pick me up.
Just as the thought finished it's process in my head, there was a knock on my door. That must be him! I jumped of the couch, and quickly dusted off my shirt and jeans before I answered the door.
There in the doorway, stood Ty, with that adorable smile of his.
"Hey Tinka." He said in a cheery voice.
"Hello Ty!" I said, excitedly.
"You look very pretty tonight."
"Thank you. You don't look bad yourself."
"Thanks. Are you ready to go."
"But of course."
And with that, we both exited the apartment, and made our way down the staircase, both of us praying that it will go okay.

"How about like this?" I said, as I moved my arms up higher in another fighting position.
"No, if you do that, then you lose balance and you will be completely defenseless!" Logan scolded.
It was about a week ago that Logan and I had our little incident. I have no idea how it happened! I wanted to get up but for some reason I just couldn't. It was so weird. And that's not even the weirdest part. We almost kissed! And I don't mean I slipped and our lips almost touched. I mean we both started leaning in closer to one another!
Then after that, Flynn interrupted just in time to stop us. Even though it was nearly a week ago, I still can't stop thinking about it. It's like an itch inside my head that I can't scratch. I don't understand why, though.
Is it possible that I really like Logan? Like like? No, that's not it, I'm sure it isn't. We're friends, and just friends.
Then again, we have been getting really close lately. We've been hanging out all the time, not to mention the whole martial arts workshop thing.
Anyways, Logan and I have agreed that the incident was just a accident due to some clumsiness, and to just pretend that it never happened.
Now, the two of us were over at my place, practing for our next karate class.
"How the heck am I losing balance?" I exclaimed.
"Because if you were to try to hit somebody like that, then you would have to shift all your weight to your left foot." Logan explained. "And you could easily been pinned down to the mat that way!"
"Well than what exactly do you expect me to do?"
He walked over to me and gently grabbed my arm. He lowerd one of them to my side, and moved the other one more outward. I felt a weird tingle when he touched me.
"Try keeping them more like this." He explained. "That way, you can keep your balance, and still be able to attack and defend."
"Oh, okay..." I said, looking up at him. I felt my cheeks heat up.
