Cece point of view

I woke up in my bed after a long night of little sleep. It was Monday, my least favorite day of the week. But there was one more thing that made this day more miserable than usual.

Yesterday was Sunday. The day Logan and I kissed. The day that my feelings for him became 100% clear. And the day that him and Rocky started dating once again.

I shook my head, trying to get rid of the picture of Rocky in his arms, but it wouldn't go away. And the worst part was that it happened right after the kiss.

That kiss... it was incredible. It made my body light up and the surge was amazing. I knew from that moment that I wanted to be with him. And I thought that he felt the same way too, but I guess I was wrong... not that that's unusual, I'm almost always wrong, but that's not the point!

He immediately took her back, and they hung out together for the rest of the day. He didn't even stay to finish our practice for the next martial arts workshop class. He just left with her.

I can't believe for a second that I thought he might feel the same way about me that I do for him. But he's happy, so I should respect his decision and try to be happy for him.

And who knows, maybe this is for the best. If me and him started dating, it could ruin the friendship that we just made. We went through a lot to try to become friends, and I don't think we should risk that, especially if he still has feelings for Rocky. And that's not even the biggest reason why...

I shock my head again. Before dragging myself out of bed, and getting ready to go to school.

Logan point of view

I leaned against my locker, while tapping my foot impatiently. I desperately needed to talk to Cece. I need to explain to her everything that went on yesterday.

Yesterday was the day that Rocky and I started dating again. Right after Cece and I kissed, Rocky and Ty came down stairs with some news. Ty was officially giving Rocky and I permission to date. Rocky seemed really happy about it. And as crazy as this sounds, I agreed to it.

That's right! Right after I kissed Cece and realized that I wanted to be with her, I agreed to start going out with a completely different girl! What was I thinking? I guess I just couldn't say no, since Rocky went through a lot to get Ty's approval.

Then Rocky and I hung out for the rest of the day, mainly at the mall. The whole time, I was forced to put on a fake smile. How could this have happened? I am completely over Rocky, and I know that I want to be with Cece. And now I'm stuck in a relationship that I don't want to be in.

And the worst part is, I don't think there's much of a way out. I used to chase Rocky around, flirt with her, and beg her to date me. And if I were to break up with her now, after she just took me back, she would be furious. And what excuse would I use? "Hey, Rocky, sorry to tell you this, but I'm kind of into Cece now, you know, the girl who lives downstairs from you and has been your best friend since you two were five? But hey! We can still be friends!"

Ugh! What am I going to do?

Just then, Deuce turned the corner of the hallway and approached me.

"Hey Logan!" He exclaimed with a cheery smile. "I heard that you and Rocky are officially back together! I guess that means that the 'almost kiss' didn't really mean anything thing at all. Congratulations, man!"

"Uh, thanks, Deuce." I said, in a low voice.

Deuce must have noticed my negative behavior, because he said.

"Dude, you okay?"

Before I could respond, he said:

"Oh, I know what it is! You're afraid that Rocky might find out about what happened between you and Cece. Don't worry, man, I won't tell her. My lips are sealed! And hey! It's not like you guys really kissed, right?"

He laughed, gave me a slap on the shoulder, and headed towards his next class.

Right, imagine that drama the drama THAT would have made...

Just then, I saw her. Cece was quickly walking down the hall with her head down. I quickly walked up to her, and grabbed her arm.

"We need to talk about yesterday!" I whispered.

"No we don't! There's nothing to talk about!" She whispered back. "You choose Rocky, you guys are a couple again, and I am fine with that!"

"No it's not like that, please listen!"

She sighed. "Fine."

We both walked over to one of the benches in the hallway, and sat down.

"Okay, so we kissed yesterday." Cece said. "It was... nice."

"Yeah, it was."

"But now you and Rocky are going out. You've wanted to win her over for weeks now, and you finally got what you want."

"No! It's not like that at all! I got over Rocky a long time ago! I want to be with you, Cece! And from what I felt yesterday, I thought you would want to go out with me."

"Logan, I do have feelings for you, but you and I can't be together, okay? Especially now." Cece said.

"But Cece,-"

"I'm sorry, Logan. Your Rocky's boyfriend now, so go and speed time with her. I'll see you later."

And with that she got up and went off to her next class. I groaned miserably and rubbed my fingers on my head, trying to think over what situation I've gotten myself into
