Cece point of view

I stared at the piece of wood lying on the coffe table my living room, while rubbing my fingers against my temple.

"How could this be so difficult? It's one piece of wood!"

Then I realized "Maybe I do need Logan's help for this."

I sighed, and picked up my phone. Right when I was about to put down a text, the front door swung open.

And guess who just dashed into my apartment?

"Logan?" I said, standing up. "Wow, that was fast!"

"Hey, Cece, I got your email. What's the emergency?" He exclaimed.

"Wait, what?" I asked. Now I'm confused.

"The email you sent me!" He said, pulling out his phone. "It says 'Logan, it's me, Cece. Come over to my place immediately! I have an emergency!'"

"Logan, I didn't send you any email." I explained.

Logan looked very puzzled. "Wait... what? But, if it wasn't you, then, who did?"

"That would be me."

Logan and I turned our heads to the sound of a familiar voice, just as Rocky's feet hit the ground of the living room. Her older brother Ty climbing through the window from behind her.

"Rocky?" Logan exclaimed. "How did you get my e-mail address?"

"I know people." She said. "Anyways, I tricked you into to coming here so I could get you two in the same place. I need to talk to you both about something."

She had both Logan's and my undivided attention. What did she want to talk to us about? She took a deep breath, before she continued.

"Recently, Ty approached me with some unexpected news. He told me that he went back to the school one night to get some books he forgot, and he saw you two talking... and kissing."

My eyes almost popped out of my skull when I heard this. And I didn't need to turn around to know that Logan had the exact same reaction as me.

"That was YOU?!" I yelled at Ty.

His response was a small nod.

No way...

"He told me that you two have been seeing each other behind my back." Rocky continued. He face was completely unreadable. "And that you've been doing so for some time now. So now, I know why you really dumped me, Logan. But seriously, Canada? Really?"

"It seemed like a good excuse at the time!" He exclaimed.

"Look, Rocky, I-" I started, but Rocky interrupted.

"But Ty also told me something else. He said that even though you guys have been seeing each other, your not secretly told me that you," she turned her head towards me. "said that you wouldn't go out with him, because he and I used to date. Is this true?"

At first there was a big lump in my throat, and I just couldn't take. Then I managed to find my voice:

"Yes, it's true."

"But, why?" She asked.

"Because you're my best friend. You have been since we were little kids! I couldn't just betray you like that! And you've always been there for me! Whether it was with dancing, or with school, you've always looked out for me, and you've always thought of me."

Rocky let out a loud sigh. "Not always..." She said quietly, while sitting down on the couch.

"What? What are you talking about?" I asked in confusion, sitting down next to her.

She sighed again. "I'm talking about when I was dating Logan. I knew that you were upset about your relationship but really, I barely did anything about it. Instead of doing what I could of done to be a good friend, I tried to work my way around it. And ever since Ty told me about you not dating Logan because of me, I constantly looked back on when I was with Logan and I kept saying to myself, 'I was being such a lousy friend.'. And I feel so guilty for that!"

Rocky looked like she was ready to start tearing up.

"Are you crazy?" I exclaimed. "Rocky Blue is not a lousy friend! When I didn't get on Shake It Up Chicago, you handcuffed me to you, and dragged me on stage with you. When I was feeling insecure about my dyslexia, you were right there to help me through it. You are NOT a lousy friend! You never have been, and you never will be. You will always be my best friend."

Slowly, a smile grew across her face, as well as mine. Before I knew it, we were squeezing each other in the tightest BFF hug we've ever shared together. And it felt so good.

"AWWWWWWWWW!" Ty and Logan exclaimed.

Rocky and I just chuckled at them, as we pulled apart.

"Well, back to the subject at hand," Rocky said. "I've been thinking and I realized that you put me before I guy you really like. That means so much. And someone like that shouldn't not be allowed to be with the boy they really like."

"What are you saying?" Logan asked.

"I'm saying that, if you guys go out, I won't mind. I'm giving you two permission to date."

I felt my heart do a back flip in my chest, and my eyes widened in shock. Logan must have felt the same way because he looked like he had just seen a ghost.

"Are you serious?" Logan and I said.

Rocky just smiled and nodded.

"Oh my god, thank you!" I yelled squeezing her as tight as I could. When I felt like she might stop breathing, I jumped off the couch and jumped into Logan's arms.

I smiled wider as I felt him tightly hug me back. I've waited for this moment for so long. I never thought it would actually happen. It felt so good to be in his arms again.

I held him tighter as I heard Ty cheering for us, and Rocky happily laughing.

We finally pulled apart after several seconds.

"Well, let's not just stand here!" Ty said. "Let's celebrate!"

"Yeah! How about we get a bite at Crusty's?" Logan said.

"That sounds great!" I agreed.

"I'll call Tinka, and see if she wants to come!" Ty said.

"Great idea!" Rocky said.

"Let's go!"

And with that, we all skipped out of the apartment
