AN: If you're in public, I don't suggest reading unless you want to cry. I'm already tearing up knowing what this is about.
By the way, I've changed a big part of this plot, so are you ready for ANGST??? I hope you are!!!

"And Tasha and you will go to Vormir and get the soul stone, are you sure you don't want me to be there? Nebula and Rhodey are getting the power stone." Steve finished

They nodded. Natasha smiled, and shook her head at Steve. They all put their hands together for a moment and just looked at each other. This was going to work. This had to work, because if not, they weren't sure what they would do. Living with their own failures.

"See you in a minute." Natasha told Steve smiling. Tony frowned as he touched his watch.

They ended up in a dark, spooky, almost dusty, sunset land with a high cliff. It looked like they were on the set of a creepy Halloween movie. As they climbed the mountain, Tony filled in the silence. "What if this doesn't work? What if not all of us come back?"

"Then we keep going. We keep avenging."

Tony nodded but Natasha could tell he wasn't convinced. Hey didn't want to admit that he was afraid to her. Maybe four or five years ago he would've, but not now. He barely kept his composure around any of them and had already lashed out two years ago. It landed him back in the hospital. He didn't need to freak out on her again.

"You okay?" He asked when he noticed she wasn't behind him anymore. She paused and then nodded.

"Yeah, just you know, out of breath."

"You, out of breath?" Tony asked, an eyebrow going up and his gaze focused on her.

"I'm not as young as I used to be Tony." Natasha said sharply.

"That's true, but that's not the truth."
Natasha looked at Tony, and realizing that he wasn't going to back down, gave in. She sat down and motioned for him to sit next to her.

"I'm pregnant."

Tony's hand stopped moving for a fraction of a second, and Natasha just barely noticed the pause. "You're serious?"

"Yeah." Natasha didn't dare look at Tony. She wasn't ready to face him yet.

"I figured sooner or later you'd announce you were together. But a baby Nat? Last time. . ."

"I know. But Steve's a super soldier, and I've had no problems."

Tony's heart dropped. His DNA was the reason their baby had died. It had been fourteen years and it still haunted him, and now he knew had indirectly killed his baby. Maybe it was a good thing that he wasn't the father.

"Boy or girl?"

"Boy. We're naming him Harley. I'm not sorry Tony, but we weren't expecting it. Steve and I never meant for anything to develop, we were just together-"

"It's okay Nat. We were too far gone. It was all three of our faults." He stood up and started to walk again. Natasha stood up and followed him. "This is why Steve wanted to come isn't it?"

"Yeah. It was." She fell into step with Tony, who had slowed down for her sake.

"Is that the red dude that Steve always talked about?" Tony asked Nat when the ghost man left, explaining the way the stone worked.

"Do you know anyone else with a red skull and creepy voice?"

"I'll do it."

Tony ran to the edge, but Natasha caught his arm. "No I will."
