From the falling debris of the Compound, Thor and Tony start flying, and a dirty Captain America dug his way out of the pile of broken walls and memories.
Just like always, Steve runs into the battle, underprepared but hopeful as ever.

When he goes up to Thanos, Tony and Thor are there as well, it was almost like the formidable force they had been four years ago. The God of Thunder, Captain America, and Ironman. This time though, they weren't naively going into a fight. They had been fighting this battle for two years. Thanos was not just a titan with a glove. He represented their fear, loss, and anger. And they were going to end him.

The shield was the very first thing that went flying at Thanos' head. Then Mjolnir. Then Stormbreaker. All of them Thanos blocked with practiced ease. He wasn't focused on them. All he wanted was the gauntlet, and he would do whatever it took to get it.

*In the rubble*

Rhodey lifted his head and groaned. His legs. They burned, and when he moved, he couldn't feel them. The light on the braces was off. He had no way of walking.

"Get me out of this." Rocket was yelling, but it was muffled. Still, Rhodey crawled over, painstakingly slow, and tried getting Rocket out.

"Please." Rhodey whispered as he used his body weight to lift part of a wall with a metal stick.

"Are you okay?" Rocket asked as soon as he emerged from the pile.

"Jarvis, suit. Now." Rhodey said, tapping his earpiece.

"On its way Colonel." Tony and Rhodey has always kept a spare suit in the tower, and it helped in times like this, where the rest of the suits were destroyed.

"We've got to get out of here." Hulk said as he barged through the mess. Then he hit the wall that had previously protecting them from a huge wave of water.

"Help!" Rocket yelled as he started to flail around.

Rhodey reached as far as he could and tried to locate Rocket under all the water.
After forty seconds, Hulk came back up, holding a limp Rocket in his hands.

"Breathe for me." In moments, Rocket gasped and started to swear.

"I can't swim." Rhodey whispered and felt as the water filled his nose.

*another part of the rubble*

Clint glanced behind him before he began to run. He didn't know what type of aliens were chasing after him, but he knew that they were bad news, and since he had the god forsaken glove, he was in imminent danger. "Someone answer me!" He yelled as he ran further into the piles of broken glass and drywall.

Then he stopped at an intersection and with trained ease, shot two explosive arrows down the tunnel he had been running through. "Bye bye suckers."
Then he used his grappling hook to lift him up, and watched as the arrows blew up the area.

As he landed, gauntlet in hand, he turned around to see Natasha.

"It's a long way from Budapest, isn't it? Thank you. For saving my world." She said gesturing, and even if she wasn't actually showing something, he knew who she was talking about. Steve Peter, his family, and maybe even Tony was on that list. Clint blinked and she was gone, but the Soul Stone was shining brightly, just as Natasha had in Clint's life.

*another part of the debris*

Scott jumped off the pencil and tried his coms. All he could hear was the scratch of Bruce yelling "man down!"

Scott ran to the area just in time to see something blue flash before him. It was Nebula, who was gracefully taking out all the surrounding aliens.
