Vaes Dothrak - Year 300 - Dany's Tent

It had been several days since the incident with Viserys, and Dany had been having strange dreams of fire, and her eggs breaking and dragons flying out and covering the sky with the shadow of their wings. It had caused her to spend most of the past few days in bed with a fever, and she could not stop herself from staring at the eggs. Finally though, she had grown tired of staring, and she had decided to do something, and that something, was to put the biggest egg, the black one, into the fire. She let the egg remain there for several long minutes, before, almost in a daze, she reached out to remove it.

"Khaleesi?" She vaguely heard before the egg was snatched from her hands, and then dropped by her handmaiden, Irri, who immediately grabbed her hands to check for the burns that surely had to be there.

"Oh, Khaleesi!" She exclaimed as she flipped the over so Dany's palms were facing the sky. Dany finally looked away from the egg that was now laying on the ground, to see that her hands held to burns, while Irri has burns in the shape of scales all across her palms. Irri looked up at Dany in confusion, while Dany at last snapped out of her daze.

"You're hurt." Dany mumbled as she began to pull Irri to the water that Irri had apparently just brought in, so that she could dress her wounds. And while she was doing so, she found herself looking back over at the egg, that was still radiating warmth, but to her, had simply felt like a cool stone in her hands.

Vaes Dothrak - That Evening - The Tent of the Dosh Khaleen

Dany was tearing apart the heart of a horse, as she kneeled on a platform, surrounded by her husband, the men of their khalessar, and one of the women from the Dosh Khaleen, who was chanting something in Dothraki that was almost incomprehensible to Dany, who could only understand a few words as she was focusing so hard on not throwing up what she had already eaten.

Irri had explained this ritual to her only minutes before she had to actually do it. It, apparently, was something that all Khaleesi's had to do, to show the strenght of their children. And no Khaleesi had ever been able to do it. She was determined. She is the blood of the dragon. She would not fail, she would show her husband that she was strong, and so is her son. Dany noticed that the chanting began to grow louder, as did the cheering, as she began to eat bigger bites of the large heart, but she disregarded it. All that was important to her in that moment was the way Drogo was looking at her, there was so much love in his eyes, so much faith in her. Faith that she could do this. That her son, their son, would be the Stallion That Mounts The World, the Khal that would lead all Khalessars, and defeat all enemies.

As Dany finished the last bite, she found herself about to bring it right back up, but, kneeling on all fours, she forced herself to keep the last bite down as she raised herself back up again, and allowed her gaze to find her husband, who had leaned forward, and was staring at her intently. The priestess began to speak again, and this time, Dany listened to what she had to say.

"The Stallion who mounts the World! He is the Khal of Khals! He shall unite all people into a single Khalasar! All the people of the World shall be his herd!" Dany rose to her feet, causing silence to envelop the room before she spoke.

"A Prince rides inside me! And he shall be called Rhaego!" Dany turned to look at her husband, who was smiling proudly at her, as their people began to chant their son's name. Drogo rose quickly, moving towards her before he lifted her up into his arms and began to parade her around the stage that she had just been situated on.

After several laps around the stage, Drogo carried Dany to the lake that is situated exactly in the middle of Vaes Dothrak, it was sacred to the Dothraki people, and Drogo was bringing her there to bathe her, to remove the blood that had dripped down her body as she ate the heart.
