Chapter 3: Starting at the academy

(Flashback Start)

"I'll need you to come here in the morning so that we can enroll you in the academy," Hiruzen said to me. A smile crawled it's way across my face. "I get to meet all of the rookie 9, sweet!" I shouted in my head before I replied to Hiruzen happily, "Okay".

(Flashback End)

I entered Naruto's apartment and just stopped dead in my tracks. There was stuff all over the place. There were trash bags in the kitchen, dishes stacked high in the sink, and... it was just awful. "How the hell do you live in this Naruto?" I questioned him. "Well... If I knew I would have had company I would have cleaned up a bit" I heard Naruto say sheepishly. "No, just no," I said as I shook my head. "Welp!" I shouted loudly, scaring NAruto. "Sorry Naruto" I apologized. "It's okay June," Naruto said to me with his famous toothy grin. "If we're going to stay here then we're going to clean this place up," I said determinedly as I put my hands on my hips for effect.

As I and Naruto cleaned up his apartment I realized something. "Wait, why are we doing the work," I said out loud as Naruto gave me a weird look. "What?" I asked him. "What did you mean by 'why are we doing the work' " He asked me. "Just watch" Was all I said before I put my pingers into the cross pattern for the Jutsu I've seen NAruto use ever since the first episode. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" I shouted and 50 me's poofed into existence.

"Holy shit" was I all I could say. Naruto looked around at the clones and then at me with stars in his eyes. "Can you teach me that Jutsu June please, please, please?" Naruto said as he begged to me from across the room. Why was he across the room, simple, made to many fuking clones. "I'll teach it to you after we clean up," I said to him from where I was standing. I saw Naruto's eyes light up in determination as he shouted "Alright!".

It didn't take long to clean up the apartment after that. We cleaned it so much that it looked like it was brand new. Once I dispelled all the clones I stared out in the apartment and admired our work. "See Naruto, that's what teamwork can do for you. Work as a team and you can do anything" I said to him as admired the clean apartment. "That's so cool June," Naruto said with stars in his eyes, again. I turned to him and gave him a smile "Now let's go find someplace so I can teach you the Jutsu". If human faces could be light bulbs then Naruto's would be the brightest.

"Alright let's go and if you can make some clones we'll go get some ramen for dinner," I said knowing that a promise of ramen might be one of the only motivations Naruto has. "Alright! now that's some motivation!" Naruto said as he dashed for the door. "Oh brother" I sighed and went after Naruto making sure to lock the door, just in case. Naruto was bouncing up and down outside the apartment in excitement. "Naruto calms down," I said as I put my hands on his shoulder and forced him to stop. "Sorry," Naruto said, scratching the back of his head. "Alright follow me!" I said pumping my fist into the air.

I took Naruto to the training grounds where he would eventually take the 'test' with Sakura and Sasuke. "Alright Naruto the first thing I want to teach you is some basic Chakra control," I said as I turned around and faced him. "How does that have to do with the cool Jutsu you did?" Naruto questioningly shouted at me. "Chakra control is the key to being able to do any cool Jutsus like this," I said as I moved through the hand signs for a Jutsu. "Let's hope this works," I said to myself as I weaved the last handsign. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu," I said before I shot the biggest fucking fireball I have ever seen. "Like that," I said with a smirk as I saw Naruto's stunned face. "What do I do Sensei!" Naruto shouted.

"Sensei... I like the sound of that" I said to myself. "Well the exercise I want to is tree climbing..." I said before Naruto interrupted me. "Seems easy," Naruto said. "With only your feet," I finished as I tried to hold in my laugh because of the look of disbelief Naruto had on his face. "Now what you need to do is focus your chakra into your feet, too much and you'll break the bark, too little and you'll fall flat on your ass" I instructed to Naruto. "Alright! let's do this" was the last thing I heard Naruto say before he ran full force into the tree.
