Chapter 8: Neji is better in person and full of surprises

(Flashback Start)

So as I practiced I felt a presence walk up to me. I whipped around and faced him, my mistake was not deactivating my Rinnegan. Because when I turned around I was met with the pale lavender color of the Byakugan, but not Hinata's. "N-Neji!"

(Flashback End)

"N-Neji!" I said with a stunned tone in my voice. Standing right in front of me was The Neji Hyuga. He was so much better looking up close and in person. So I did what any normal person would do in my situation. I walked straight up to him and pulled him into a hug... yep, definitely what a normal person would do when they meet a complete stranger, but he wasn't a stranger to me. "W-what are you doing" I heard Neji ask in a monotone voice. I couldn't help but blush when I heard his stutter. That was really cute to me, I don't know about anybody else though.

"I'm giving you a hug, what else would I be doing-" I immediately gained a smirk "-doing something like this perhaps?" I say as I place a kiss on his cheek. I pulled away from him when for two reasons, one to see his reaction and two, his team was nearby. And when I mean nearby I mean they just came out of the trees. I did quickly realize that my Rinnegan was still activated so I turned it off right before the rest of Team Guy got there.

When Team Guy got there they saw Neji's face was a bright red. It kind of reminded me of Hinata's blushing face whenever she was near Naruto. The members of Team Guy look at Neji then to me then back to Neji then finally back to me. The entire time I was smiling the biggest smile I could muster. Then it dawned on me... I just kissed Neji. I know it wasn't on the lips but still, plus I've never done something like that before but being near Neji just makes me want to tease him by doing stuff like that.

I was broken out of my daze or whatever you want to call whatever that was by a hand being waved in front of my face. "Can I help you?" I asked the person who the waving hand was connected to, turned out it was Guy. "Who might you be, youthful young lady?" Guy asked me overenthusiastically. "I'm so glad you asked Guy-Sensei, My name is June Senju it's a pleasure to meet you finally!" I said while matching his intensity.

"How do you know Guy-Sensei's name my beautiful spring flower!" Lee shouted with the same intensity as Guy. "I'll only answer your question Lee on one condition... you beat me in a Taijutsu match" I answered back to him and in my head, I'm calling my self a dumbass. Why did I just challenge a Taijutsu expert to a fucking Taijutsu match, I must have a death wish or something. I'll have to get mom to check my head later. "Are you sure you want to do that Youthful Lady? Lee here is an expert" Guy said with a little surprise in his voice. I shouted "yep" while inside my head I'm screaming at myself to shut up.

So Guy sets us up and as Lee gets into his fighting stance and I get into mine Neji, whos has been silent ever since I kissed his cheek, spoke up. "Guy-Sensei, if you don't mind, I would like to fight her instead". Guy, Lee, and Ten-Ten (she was quite the entire time) all looked at Neji. To them, he's never done this before but to me, I was extremely excited. I then see Guy looks over at me and I calm down, just a little bit though. "Do you mind if you spar my other youthful student Neji June?" Guy asked me.

I nodded profusely. I was not confident I would be able to form a single sentence with Neji staring at me like that which I just now noticed. I started to blush under his intense stare, it was probably more like a glare but I would call it a stare. So with a few protests from Lee, Neji finally took his spot and just... stood... there. "Are we going to fight or do you want another kiss?" I shouted at him. His team gave him a questioning look but I saw Neji just shrugged it off as he got into a stance I've seen Hinata slip into plenty of times before.

"It's your destiny to lose in this fight," Neji said as he sent a smirk my way. I blushed slightly at his smirk but when he said it was my destiny to lose this fight my face just went blank. I kind of forgot how much of an ass he could be when he was in his 'my destiny is' phase. "If you think that's what my destiny is then YOUR destiny is to lose to ME, how about that cutie" I shouted back at him while also simultaneously trying to flirt with him.
