Chapter 16: Aftermath {Finale}

This chapter will probably be short, hence why it's being uploaded today. This chapter is here to wrap up the story

After the end of the Chunin Exams, Hiruzen called Me, Naruto, Hinata, and Shikamaru to his office. He basically promoted everyone except me to Chunin and after that, he dismissed everyone and told me to stay back.

"So do you know the reason why I didn't promote you to Chunin June," Hiruzen asked me. "I might but I want you to tell me," I said as I crossed my arms. Hiruzen chuckled as he placed and Jonin vest on his desk. "I didn't promote you to Chunin because you showed that you have all the skills to become a Jounin. So I, the 3rd Hokage of the village hidden in the leaves, hereby promote you to the rank of Jounin" Hiruzen said as I smiled a billion-watt smile.

"Thank you so much Old Man. I won't disappoint you" I said as I put the Jonin vest on and took the Jounin paper. After doing that I went to Neji immediately and showed him my new rank. He congratulated me and we embraced each other.

As we hugged each other I thought of my journey. From it starting from my death in my previous world and coming back into this world. Finding out I was actually from this world and that I was the children of Tsunade and Jiraiya. And now I found something that I could never find in my previous life. I found someone that I loved. Someone I could spend the rest of my life with.

All I have to do now is to wait for two and a half years to three years for the events of Naruto Shippuden to start. but in the meantime, I'm going to enjoy dating Neji.
