Chapter 6: I'm apparently OP now

Quick note, when June says mom she means Tsunade, and when she says dad she means Jiraiya. I just wanted to say that just in case it got confusing.

(Flashback Start)

"We're not leaving our daughter ever again. So we will become full-time shinobi of this village again" Dad said. I mentally was jumping up and down and cheering. We get to stay in the leaf village. But then a thought appeared in my head as I said it out loud. "What about Naruto?"

(Flashback End)

"What about Naruto?" I said out loud. Mom and Dad looked at me with a look of confusion. "Who's Naruto June?" Mom asked. I mentally facepalmed. I completely forgot about Naruto. "Naruto is the name of the kid that's both my friend and cousin," I said to them. I saw dad look at mom with a confused look before he looked at me. "What's his last name June?" dad asked me but I already knew that he knew the answer. I wonder if I should say I know who his parents are. It would look really suspicious but who cares.

"His full name is Naruto Uzumaki. His parents are Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki and he is the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki" I said with a completely straight face and confidence in my voice. I saw Hiruzen's, mom's, and dad's expressions go from neutral to shocked. I saw Hiruzen quickly pull one of his hands up and mutter something. I assumed he was activating the silence seal on the room or something. After doing that Hiruzen looked at me with a completely serious expression.

"Now June, how do you know all of this?" Hiruzen asked me. I looked at mom and dad for advice or something. "Go ahead June, it's okay," mom said to me while giving me a reassuring smile. I didn't want to tell them that they all were a work of fiction so I decided to lie. I just hope that my lie is really convincing. I took in a breath and spoke. "I know this because I have a Kekkei Genkai that allows me to see past and future events and the causes of them," I lied smoothly.

I looked up at Hiruzen and parents, hoping that they bought my lie. After Hiruzen studied me for a bit he sighed. "I believe you June," Hiruzen said. Oh, thank god he bought it. I was starting to think he didn't but thankfully he did. I turned to look at my parents and saw that they had wide smiles on their faces. I'm going, to be honest, I didn't think they would be smiling. I thought they would have a different expression on their faces.

"So... can we go find Naruto now please," I asked the two of them. "Sure thing sweety," mom said while ruffling my hair affectionately. "Mom!" I huffed out as I fixed my hair. So after we said our goodbyes to Hiruzen we set out to look for Naruto. I told I probably knew where he might be so I went directly to Ichiraku with my parents following me. When I got close to the stand that served the food of the gods I sensed both his and Hinata's chakra there.

"Wait, stop!" I quietly yelled at my parents as they arrived right next to me. "Why are we stopping?" dad asked. I pointed towards Naruto who obviously took my advice and took Hinata out on a date. "Naruto's on a date right now, we can't interrupt them now," I said as I looked at both of my parents a serious look. "Nonsense, if one of my nephews is on a date then I should find out who the girl he's with is," mom said as she marched past straight past me. "Mom, wait!" I hissed in annoyance as I glanced at dad for help. He just shrugged and went to join mom.

"Oh for fuck sakes, fine" I cursed as held my head in defeat and walked over to the stand. Once I arrived at the stand I saw mom was sitting next to Hinata and dad was sitting next to her. I sighed again and took my seat next to Naruto. I tapped Naruto on his shoulder and he turned around and faced me. "Do you know these people June?" Naruto asked, gesturing to my parents. "Yeah, I do. They're my parents" I replied to him. "They seem really interested in getting to know Hinata" Naruto commented. I nodded, "They say that they want to know who's dating their nephew".
