"Ew, this is, like, sad," came a snobby voice from behind us. All of us turned to face the one and only, Lila Johnson, the girl currently dating Jackson Winters, the girl who ruined my life.
"Lila," I sneered as I crossed my arms, sending her the most malicious glare I could muster. "Ana," she spat in her stupid, annoying, high-pitched voice. We stood there, just glaring at each other, when she decided to lunge at me.
Her body tackled me to the ground as she shrieked angrily. Lila's body was surprisingly light. Well, all girls like her are. I threw her off if me with ease. I got up and was about to kick her ribs when I felt Kane's arms jerk me back.
"Let me go!" I screamed. I escaped his grip and kicked Lila in the gut and face, hearing the satisfying crunch of her nose breaking.
"It's your fault Jackson's in jail!" Lila spat, holding her nose. "He did it to himself, bitch!" I yelled at her. "Your boyfriend's a criminal!" I hollered.
Lila stood up calmly and said words that broke my heart even more than it already was. What's even worse is the words she spoke were true.
"At least my boyfriend remembers who the hell I am."

Me, Sabrina, and Raven burst into Sabrina's room. All of us decided to come to Sabrina's for lunch, including Raven. I slumped onto her head and began to cry while Sabrina explained the situation to Raven.A knock caught my attention and I uncovered my face. "Come in," Sabrina called. Kane's face peeked through a crack in the door before coming in.
"Can we be alone, please?" he asked politely. Sabrina nodded and informed us, "I'll go start lunch." Her and Raven left the room.
I buried my face in the pillow once again as I felt the bed sink next to me. "Ana," Kane started, "just because you can't see me doesn't mean I can't see you." I said nothing and Kane sighed.
"Please uncover your face, Pretty Brown Eyes, or I will," he pleaded. My breath caught in my throat when he uttered my nickname. How did he remember?
I slowly removed the pillow from my face, but I didn't open my eyes. "Describe my eyes," I demanded. I could practically hear Kane smiling as he said sweetly, "Your eyes are light brown, but they look yellow in the sunlight."
Slowly but surely, my eyelids slid upwards to reveal my orbs. Kane sat next to me gazing down on me with a soft grin glued to his face.
I didn't have to ask the question for him the answer, "I don't know. I just do." "But how do you remember?" he shrugged and said, "You're my therapist."
I raised an eyebrow, asking him to explain. "You just..." Kane started, unsure of how to finish. "You help me remember."
