It's Friday night we're all getting ready to party. Lena and Tate are in my room doing their makeup in front of my full-length mirror behind my door. I don't like wearing a full face it makes me feel icky. So I just put on concealer to cover up my blemishes, blush, waterproof mascara, and eyeliner.

After I went to my first frat party I thought wearing dresses to the parties was overdressing. Right now I'm wearing high waisted jeans and a sky blue plunge ring bralette with my blue Air Jordans. Can you tell what my favorite color is? I would wear heels instead, but the sludge on the floors there is nasty. Tate is wearing black skinny jeans with a black mesh long-sleeve. A black cropped tank that more looks like a bra underneath. Lena is wearing a matching light blue plaid cropped tank and skirt set. The weather is still nice out so we don't need jackets I would've lost mine. The number of jackets I've lost and will never get back.

"Are you guys done?" I ask them for the third time.

"Yes." Lena answers smoothing out her skirt. Tate grabs her purse and opens the door for us.

We take my car to the frat house. Tonight it's Lena's turn to be DD. I still won't drink much but that's because I don't like being unaware and am a lightweight. We pass the house looking for a parking spot. You can see the stumbling drunk girls on the lawn, couples making out in the dark, and hear the blaring music. We walk in the house and Tate is already out and about. She knows the drill to call or text if she left with someone or wants to leave. Lena and I get drinks well I get a warm beer and she gets a soda.

"Mmm cheers to warm beer." I say sarcastically holding the cup up to Lena as we lean against the kitchen island. She laughs and looks around to make sure that Liam is not in sight. She pretends she doesn't know who Liam is at parties.

"You know you could get something different." Lena laughs I could but I don't want anything stronger. I just shrug in response.

"Hiiii." A girl slurs hugging me from behind what the fuck. I stiffen but once I look over my shoulder I relax and see it's Jen. I hear Lena laugh at Jen since she's a funny drunk.

"Hey Jen." I say giving my beer to Lena since anyone could do something my drink within seconds. I pull Jen in front of me stabilizing her since she's swaying.

"Ok byeeee!" Jen squeals and stumbles away. I look at Lena funnily and she shrugs giving me my beer back. After a couple of minutes of talking to Lena, I feel the hair's rise at the back of my neck. Just as I am about to look around an arm sling around my shoulder's. From the smell of the familiar aftershave, I can tell it's Liam. When I look at him I see four other guys beside him. Two of them are seniors, Carter, and another guy that I know is also in our year. I shrug off Liam's arm.

Liam nods at us and acknowledges us by saying our names "L, Teagan."

I look up at him since he towers me with over a foot of height and shake my head at him. "No, that's my nickname for her." I say and continue to shake my head at him.

"Yeah don't call me that." Lena tells him jokingly glaring at him. He laughs at her and I take another sip of my warm beer. A throat clears beside Liam and we look at his friends I can't tell if they want to walk away or stay.

"Right that's Max, Alex, Carter, and Adam. This is Teagan and you already know my sister Lena." Liam introduces them from right to left. I smile at them some of them smile back and some of them nod back. I hate meeting new people it's all awkward and you don't know whether to ask them questions or not. Freshman orientation was horrifying for me, so many new people coming up to me and I'm just there all awkward.

"So are you transfer?" Alex asks me.

"Nope, I went here last year too." I answer back feeling slightly awkward. They chose the question route, but I mean what other route is there.
