A/N: Okay, sorry this story has been on hiatus for... basically e v e r. I'm really trying ya'll. Ik I said it was supposed to return Aug. 20th, but it got pushed back due to school, motivation, and other stress related issues, and from now on, this book will have MUCH slower and rarer updates. More details are in my "Random thoughts" book.
The next couple chapters ARE NOT for the faint-hearted.

(lmao nah ur good, it's just really violent)The purple gem held the dormant gems tight in her arms as she and Connie ran towards the glowing pink bubble. Suddenly, she had an idea. She put Ruby, Sapphire, and Pearl close to her gem.
"C'mon.. you guys gotta come out! We need you!"
Within a few seconds, Amethyst and the gems glowed brightly, forming a larger, more powerful gem. Connie gawked at the fusion. "You fused!" she exclaimed. Alexandrite bent down, scooping up Connie in her large hand. She roared loudly, sprinting towards the lighthouse.
Steven felt the ground shake beneath him, nearly knocking him off balance. He swiveled his head around, only to see the giant woman running towards him. He furrowed his brow in anger, gritting his teeth. Steven's pink eyes burned with fury, summoning his spiked shield in hand.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST F*CKING DIE ALREADY?!" Steven's powerful wail was enough to send the spikes outside the dome flying. Alexandrite ducked, missing by an inch. This wasn't the Steven they all knew and loved.
This was an unrecognizable monster.
Peridot, Bismuth, and Lapis were busy working down in little homeworld, when they suddenly heard the boy's scream of anguish, enough to topple Bismuth's scaffolding over.
"MY SCAFFOLDING!" Bismuth cried to her dismay. "Why does this keep happening??" Lapis glanced around to find the source of the noise, puzzled. "What was that?" she asked. Peridot walked over to Lapis. "More importantly, what's that giant pink bubble doing there?""Wait a second... is that.. Steven...?"
"Hmmmmmm..."
Peridot grabbed a nearby pair of binoculars and looked through them."Why does he have that weapon..? H-He looks so... angry." she said, clearly concerned. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's see what this is and sort this out!" Bismuth chimed in. "I'm sure it's nothing... too serious."
Lapis and Peridot nodded in agreement. The warp pad glowed as the three gems appeared. "NEVER FEAR!" Peridot announced. "The crystal gems are here to- huh?" The small green gem paused as she looked around to spot the other gems. "Where are they? Are they fighting some big battle or something?" All three of the gems turned, only to see Greg sitting on the couch, paralyzed with fear. "Greg!" Bismuth exclaimed. "Do you know where the gems are?" Greg remained silent with his hand still over his mouth."S-Steven.. no.." he kept murmuring to himself, hardly audible. "Greg...?" Bismuth began, slowly walking towards the distraught man. "Are you alright?"
"My own son.. a-a m-murderer.."
Bismuth's expression went from confused to genuine fear when Greg said those words. "What do you mean... a murderer? Steven would never-" The Crystal gem flinched when Greg gripped her arm tightly in extreme distress, a river of tears flowing from his eyes. Bismuth noticed that he was trembling so much, he could barely keep a steady grip.
"MY SON IS A K-KILLER! WE HAD TO PUT HIM IN A MENAL FACILITY, A-AND I COULD HAVE PREVENTED HIM FROM WINDING DOWN THIS P-PATH!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SO BLIND! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER FATHER!!! I FAILED!! THIS IS ALL MY F-FAULT!" Greg sobbed with affliction, struggling to catch his breath. All of the gems exchanged glances. "You aren't a bad father, Greg." Lapis comforted. "Can you tell us WHAT he is upset about??"
"H-He said nobody cares... he wants to make everyone pay for what they have done to him."
Without hesitation, they all rushed out the door, except for Greg, who still sat with shock and pain. "STEVEN!" Lapis yelled, flying upwards to grab the boy's attention. "Greg told us everything! Why don't you come down her and we can-"
The ground shook once more, as the massive fusion came into view. "STEVEN!!" Alexandrite roared. Steven, consumed with rage, blew off the spikes again, this time hitting Alexandrite, splitting the fusion apart. "Ugh!" Pearl landed with a loud grunt. "He's too powerful!!" she exclaimed. "First, we need to destroy that bubble!" Garnet ordered. "He's not going to listen to us!" She nodded to Amethyst and held out her hand. Amethyst nodded her head back, grasping Garnet's palm and fusing to the strong, purple fusion of Sugalite. "HEY STEVEN!!" Sugalite shouted, spinning her flail in the air. "EAT THIS!" She whacked the spiked bubble with a hard blow, but it didn't make a dent. She tried again and again. Still nothing, while Steven was left unphased by this, still displaying that same cold grin. "Alright, last shot!"Nothing.
"Wow!" the corrupted boy snickered. "You REALLY are just asking to get pierced by these spikes again, aren't you?"
With that statement, he once again sent the spikes cutting the air around him, Sugalite missing just barely. "WHY WONT YOU JUST LEAVE?! YOU AREN'T EVER GONNA FIX THE DAMAGE DONE! AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET!!" Steven bared his slightly pointed teeth and cackled wickedly, bringing out that spiked shield. His eyes flashed pink and his voice lowered, his face darkening and his smirk dropped. "So, you wanna go now?"Just then, a shadow came over everyone, as a large figure looked over them.
Steven's eyes widened with terror. "W-What..? How, I-" But then he suddenly relaxed, and that menacing scowl returned. "Tch. What are they gonna do? Shatter me?" Steven laughed.
"Steven?!" a familiar voice boomed above. "Where are you hiding? Come out this instant! We need to talk!"
The diamonds.
