I THOUGHT this game would be boring. But oh, boy! I was so wrong!
Playing with Loki dear was already a reward on its own. Magkatabi pa nga kaming dalawa sa seating arrangement. But aside from that added bonus, I can put my acting skills to use. How? Kung ako ang nakabunot ng Infected card, I only had to use my natural ability as an actress to act as if I'm one of those innocent, Healthy players. Convincing them of my innonence would just be a piece of cake!
I know, I know. Some may call this overconfidence. Pero that's the truth. That's my God-given talent. What can I do about it? If you have it, then flaunt it!
Hindi lang pag-arte ang pwede kong gamiting skill sa laro na 'to. I could also sniff out those who are trying hard to act innocently. Being a campus renown actress myself, I can tell by the facial expressions and speech intonations if someone's acting or not. Basic.
Kakatapos pa lang ng unang Night Phase. Grabe ang kaba ko roon, ha? Emeraude was already eliminated from the game by the cunning Infected. Poor girl. Hindi pa nga nag-iinit ang puwet niya sa upuan, natanggal na agad siya. While we felt a bit sad about her departure, I felt lucky kasi hindi ako ang natanggal. I'd want to enjoy this game with Loki dear a bit longer!
"Now, it's time for the day phase! Who among the players chose to infect Emeraude?"
Day Phase na pala. We know what that means. It's accusation time!
Ang tanong: Sino kaya sa amin ang Infected na napiling unahin ang student council president? I don't get why si Em ang inuna. Pwede namang isa sa amin na taga-QED Club. Kami ang legit threat sa kung sinuman ang Infected.
Tumingin ako sa aking kanan. Seryosong pinagmamasdan ni Loki dear ang bawat estudyante sa circle of players namin. His gray, dull eyes had that look na parang ina-analyze niya ang bawat paghinga at paggalaw sa mukha ng taong kanyang tinitingnan. He's prolly using his hyper deduction ability para i-identify kung siya ba ang Infected o hindi.
Was that all an acting? Could my Loki dear be the Infected one? He always wears that face as blank as a clean sheet of paper kaya mahirap basahin kung ano ang nasa isip niya. It's kinda challenging to read his facial microexpressions. Well, it's Loki dear after all. I don't expect anyone to easily decode his thoughts.
How about Lorelei? She's been awfully quiet since the game started. Ni hindi nga siya nagsalita kaninang Introduction Phase. Fishy. Medyo kabado rin siya. Eto naman kasing si Lori, napaka-nerbyosa! Whether she picked the Healthy card or the Infected card, she'd prolly have the same nervous reaction.
Alistair is in his usual calm and composed self. With matching smiling face pa, ha! I got the vibes that he knows very well how to play the game. Ilang beses na rin daw siyang nakapaglaro nito kaya hindi na ako magtataka. I had to watch out for the way he speaks and acts later.
