𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣

𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙚𝙩'𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙫

griffin and i bolted from our spots on the bench and ran inside.

"can we see him?" i asked panicked.

the nurse nodded and lead the way for all of us to see jaden.

"he's still a little loopy but since you all have been so adamant about seeing him" the nurse said before opening the door.

as the door slowly swung open, it revealed sleepy looking jaden. his eyes were half open and his head was slowly moving back and forth. he had a small smile plastered on his face as he panned his head to the door.

"heyyyyy pretty lady" he said when he saw me. his voice was rough and sounded awful, but it was him.

"jaden" i said, tears welling up in my eyes as i walked over to his bed side, grabbing his now warm hand. "you're hands are warm"

"why wouldn't they be silly" he said, using his other hand that had a cast on it to boop my nose.

the rest of the boys came into the room, saying hi to jaden and conversing with him. jaden slowly woke up more and was acting more like himself.

"okay i think that's enough visiting for now. jaden, your friends are going to go back outside" the nurse said, ushering everyone, including me out of the room.

i looked back to see jaden's happy, smiley face had fallen.

about an hour after jaden had woken up, i was finally able to fall asleep, now having the peace of mind that he was okay.

the sound of voices talking woke me from my sleep. as my eyes opened, i saw everyone else asleep again around me, as well as jaden's parents at the information desk.

shit.

i slowly got up, still rubbing the sleep from my eyes as i was approached by jaden's parents.

"are you with these boys?" his mom asked, motioning to griffin and the other boys who were all asleep.

"yeah i'm griffin's sister, violet" i said, sticking my hand out, which his mother gladly accepted.

"oh so you're the famous violet we hear so much about" his dad said before shacking my hand.

"all good things i hope" i chuckled, really hoping it was only good things.

"oh sweetie, jaden never stops talking about you" his mom laughed.

"he really loves you" she whispered under her breath, hoping i couldn't hear it but alas, i did.

"the nurse said that jaden's awake, have you seen him?" his dad asked.

"yeah he was a little loopy but still jaden" i said as we all sat down away from the other guys, since they were still asleep and we didn't want to wake them.

we all talked for a little longer before jaden was allowed to have visitors again. his parents went off to his room and i went to the cafeteria to get some food.

i had some mediocre jello before i decided to just got to the vending machine and get some goldfish. once i returned, all the guys were awake and i let them know jaden's parents were here. bryce and anthony decided to go home of a few hours to shower and get some better quality sleep, leaving me and griffin.

jaden's mom opened the door to the waiting room before making her way to griffin and i.

"jaden is requesting you, violet" she said, a small smirk on her face.
