Chapter 8 Electric speed

(Timeskip)

When Wraith and Mirage had finally gotten to the tower they took the elevator to Wattsons squad they heard clattering and stuff falling o the floors

[Enter passcode required] the elevator voice said

"we don't have it" Wraith said

[sending enter request]

[Enter request granted]

"Yo, Amigos; you wouldn't happen to know where Natalie is" Said Octane 

As the doors opened Wraith was about to respond when both her and Mirage took in the what surrounded them; Everything was trashed stuff was on the floor and in the center of it all, Octane.

"We were actually looking for her" Mirage said

"That's the thing, She's been missing, Trinket said don't tell anybody about this and he left to find her" Octane responded

"the guy with the pulse blade?" Wraith questioned

"If You're talking about the cool knife thing, then yes that's him" Octane finished

"Do you know where she is?" Wraith asked

"She had entry logs in her computer saying about being on the verge of a breakthrough with the respawn tech"

"Respawn Pods" Mirage said in realization " That's where she is"

//Wattson

"What do you want from me" Wattson asked

"The respawn pods, give us the schematics" A tall man with a black leather jacket said

"No; My friends will save me" Wattson responded

"They may, but we'll be prepared"

//Trinket

Trinket was talking to himself "Four bogeys, two armed; I can take them"

Trinket broke inside the top glass of the building to be greeted by a Wattson Tied to a Chair

"Trinket, you're here" Wattson happily said

"Wattson, My pulse blade said that you were in the other room" Trinket said confused before getting knocked out.

(Timeskip)

"You're awake, Do you like our little Pulse blade counter" Said the man as he held up a device in his hand "There are actually eight of us, all armed"

"You'll die for this" Trinket yelled

"We can use you to get information; but once we don't need you, you'll be the dead one."

//Wraith/ Mirage

"Do you really think it was a good idea to send Octane in as a scout?" Wraith asked

"Yeah, everyone calls him speedy boy" Mirage responded

The comms beeped and came out Octanes voice "We've got Eight bad guys, all of them have guns."

"Good thing we brought guns" Wraith said "What about Natalie and Trinket

"Some guy is interrogating them, I call dibs on him" Octane said in anger

"Fine, Just get back here so I can teleport us in there" Wraith said

(Timeskip)

Wraith Mirage and Octane had all gotten into the room to be greeted with four guys holding them at gunpoint 

"sorry wrong place" Wraith said as she phased herself behind them and took out two while giving the others the chance to take out the other ones

"Now time to find the others" Wraith said

as they opened the door to the next room they saw bullets whiz past them and went in guns ablaizing; as they had gotten three of them the last one pulled up Wattson and held her up at gunpoint

"put down your guns, I'm warning you" The man said 

Wraith snickered at the man but before he could ask why he got his brains blown out by Mirage 

"Sorry did I confuse you" Mirage said after the bloody body fell on the floor 

Everyone was cheering as They untied Wattson and Trinket but before they could talk Mirage interrupted

"Umm, Wraith" Mirage said

Before Wraith could respond she saw him pull his hand off his stomach with blood on it, Wraith rushed to Mirage as he fell to the ground

Wraith caught Mirage and started talking "Stay with me Elliot, Don't do this" 

Mirage talked in a cracking voice "You called me Elliot"

"Yes I did, but don't die, not here, not now" Wraith was crying now

"At least I made you cry" Elliot said as he stopped breathing in Wraiths hands

"Elliot, no, NO!" Wraith screamed as she cried over his dead body holding him close

NOTES: Sorry it took me this long to make this chapter, I had some stuff to deal with; I also had a hard time figuring out what to do with this chapter. I promise that I will get the next one out sooner
