(Timeskip) The group had gotten ready after Alisa explained what was happening and Trinket went to go search her squads room
"I'm back, and he took all the money and cleaned up any evidence" Trinket said
"It's fine" Alisa started "Is everyone ready"
"Course we are, we've got bags full of bottled water and canned food like you told us" Mirage said
"Don't forget that we're all in our combat gear" Wraith said
As Alisa was about to speak again the clock started ringing and she froze
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve. These were the amount of dings the clock made and with a grim look and scared voice Alisa talked "It's starting"
Octane walked to the window with Wattson by his side and froze at the sight. "the town, it's burning" Octane said
"They won't hold back, they've been waiting forty years for this exact moment, or so I've been told
"We've got to run, we can't defeat them, no one can" Alisa said
"You're right, at least for now" Wraith said
(Timeskip)
"Camp is set up, we will take on their army tomorrow" Alisa said
NOTES: I am sorry for such a short chapter but I think Friday might be the last post for this fanfic, at least for a while (I will try to conclude it in chapter 31). With school staring back up for me it might be hard for me to keep this schedule for posting anything so I think that I will make a original story on Monday and not settle for a schedule until a later time in the year.
